It was totally worth it! The grottoes are even more beautiful when the lights are on at night. Unfortunately, Xiangshan Temple closes at 9 PM, and I arrived at the entrance before 8:50 PM. After a long and tiring climb, the gatekeeper wouldn't let me in.

Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden is a theme park based on the famous painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" by the Northern Song Dynasty painter Zhang Zeduan, recreated in a 1:1 scale. The park is divided into the South Garden and the North Garden by a double pavilion bridge. There are many interesting performances within the garden that you shouldn't miss; I personally enjoyed "A Dream of Splendor in the Eastern Capital of the Song Dynasty." There are also plenty of restaurants and inns within the park, allowing you to explore at your own pace.

It's worth a visit. The scenery is beautiful, the air is pleasant, and the sightseeing route is well-planned. If you are in good physical condition, I recommend taking Route B, which involves taking the elevator to the more challenging section, climbing to the Jade Emperor Palace, then taking the cable car down across the entire canyon, walking through the valley floor, and taking a boat to finish the tour. If you are not in good physical condition, take Route A, which is the opposite of Route B!
We arrived just in time for the free admission, and the scenery was beautiful, with magnificent canyons – definitely worth the trip. Five hours was a bit rushed, as we missed some attractions (we were too tired to walk much). Local transportation cost 180 yuan (170 yuan via Ctrip), and the boat ride was a little over 5 minutes. The green water was very soothing, and the boardwalk was right by the water's edge; the sound of the flowing water was also pleasant. The cable car ride took about 20 minutes and offered a unique perspective. You could truly appreciate the grandeur of the Taihang Mountains.

It's a place well worth visiting for those of us deeply influenced by Confucian culture. There's no need to take the electric cart in the Confucius Forest; there's not much to see inside. Kaifeng has a Bao Zheng (Judge Bao) – you absolutely have to see him! The 9:30 PM "The Case of Chen Shimei" was very exciting. There weren't many acts, but if you walk quickly, you can catch them all. There were quite a lot of tourists. The holographic theater was a bit stuffy because it was too crowded. The bamboo pole performer was very eloquent; I really liked him, and he could even earn silver coins. I hope there will be more NPC interactions and trial-the-case shows!

It felt quite historically significant, but without a guided tour, it lost a lot of its charm. We finished exploring in 30 minutes, and without the other two attractions, the 80 yuan was definitely not worth it.
