The botanical garden is very large and has many plant species, which is suitable for a weekend leisure trip. The so-called orchid exhibition has too few species. The park is large and there are few staff. It is not suitable for hiking, otherwise it will be difficult to find attractions. However, there are many plants.
The scenery and environment are very good, and it should be even better in spring when the flowers are in full bloom. The facilities and transportation inside the scenic area are also good. The current drawback is that it is said that some facilities were damaged by mountain torrents and it is impossible to enter the mountain.

It's not a big place, but the environment is very nice. The adult pandas are at the top, and the big star, Qi Zai, usually comes out to eat in the morning. There are also underage pandas below, and they are all so cute.
The biggest attraction of the Qinling Four Treasures Park is the opportunity to observe the "Four Treasures of Qinling" up close: giant pandas, golden monkeys, takins, and crested ibises. Here, you can see the world's only captive brown giant panda—"Qi Zai," who is known for his extreme caution and concern for others—as well as seven other giant pandas and four panda cubs.
Besides the giant pandas, the other three treasures of Qinling—golden monkeys, takins, and crested ibises—are all first-class protected animals. In addition, the park has a science education exhibition area that allows visitors to learn about the survival stories of the Four Treasures and their ecological significance.
On our first visit to the park, it was in the afternoon, and the giant pandas were mostly napping and not very active. We went a second time, entering as soon as the park opened in the morning, and saw many lively and adorable giant pandas.

As one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization, Louguantai is indeed worthy of the reputation of "the first blessed place in the world"! Stepping into this Taoist holy land full of historical weight, ancient trees towering into the sky, palaces and pavilions scattered, every brick and tile tells the profoundness and remoteness of the thousand-year-old culture. Climbing up to a high place and looking down, surrounded by mountains, surrounded by clouds and mist, it seems as if you have instantly traveled back to a thousand years ago when the philosophers discussed Taoism, and your body and mind have been tranquilized and sublimated in the immersion of traditional culture.
However, if you want more people to feel this cultural gift without restraint, I sincerely hope that the scenic spot can be further optimized in details:
1. The public welfare attribute is upgraded again: Chinese culture is the spiritual wealth of the whole nation. If the charging threshold can be lowered or more free opening hours can be introduced, more people, especially young people and traditional culture enthusiasts, will be able to get closer to the heritage of Louguantai more conveniently.
2. The explanation service is more inclusive: Although the current explanation service is professional, it is recommended to increase the number of public welfare explanation sessions, or develop free audio guides, so that cultural dissemination is not restricted by costs, and truly achieve "culture people, moisten things silently".
3. More considerate facilities: The scenic area is large and the tour time is long. If rest seats, affordable food areas or characteristic cultural theme stations can be added along the main tour routes, it can not only relieve tourists' fatigue, but also allow everyone to feel the Taoist life wisdom of "harmony between man and nature" more deeply while stopping.
The cultural charm of Louguantai is still shocking despite its flaws. I look forward to seeing more people-friendly measures in the future, so that this pearl of traditional culture can illuminate the spiritual journey of more people~ 📜✨
Zhongnanshan Ancient Louguan Historical and Cultural Scenic Area: also known as Xiandu, is located at Louguantai, 15 kilometers southeast of Zhouzhi County, Shaanxi Province. It was built based on the ancient Louguan where Laozi preached. The scenic area is quite large and is known as "the most blessed place in the world."
