We arrived at the Forbidden City at 8am to meet up with our guide Ren. Although it was raining and it was getting heavier later, it still didn't stop us from visiting the Forbidden City. Especially the enthusiastic explanation of our guide Ren gave us a deeper understanding of the Forbidden City.
Tour guide Xu's interpretation of the architectural details of the Forbidden City was very accurate and amazing. He had a rich knowledge base and could easily bring up various allusions. He had a good rhythm of explanation, neither rushed nor dragged out. His language was clear and easy to understand, without obscure words. He was able to guide us to discover the beauty of the Forbidden City that is easy to overlook. The content of the explanation was rich and varied, covering all aspects of the Forbidden City. The introduction of the Forbidden City's cultural relics was in-depth and fascinating. His voice was loud and clear, and could be heard clearly in a noisy environment.

Went with my family! This is my third time at Universal Studios, and each time is a different experience. I bought a U-Pass, and I got to play almost all the fun projects, especially the Decepticons three times! It was really fun!
Haha, I took a day off on a weekday and went to Universal Studios with my husband. There were quite a few people, but based on last year's experience, I rushed to the Jurassic area, which had the longest queue last year, when I opened the door. This year, I played the opposite way. I originally wanted to queue for the Igniter, but I received a phone call and accidentally queued for the Decepticon. Alas, I found out that I had already queued for the Decepticon. I made up my mind and went for it. Haha, it was my first roller coaster in my life. I didn't expect it to be so cool. Of course, my husband said he would never play it again in his life, haha. I really want to come a few more times, as if a new world of life has opened up!

Because I was traveling with my mother who had a bad knee, I chose to take the cable car up and down. The north line is an aerial cable car; the south line is a ground cable car, a bit like the small train in the Xihai Grand Canyon of Huangshan. We arrived in the afternoon, and there were few people. We didn't have to queue up for the cable car and got on the car directly. After getting off the cable car, there was a stone with the words "If you don't go to the Great Wall, you are not a hero." This is the only hero stone, so I took the time to take pictures. The cable car came out and reached the fourth floor of the South, which is the highest point of the South Line. The mountain is quite cool. There are mountains in the distance, and you can still see the dense crowds of people on the North Line. But there are too few people at our Great Wall. It's deserted, as if I went to a fake Great Wall. Walking from the fourth floor of the South to the seventh floor of the South is the end. It feels like I haven't exerted any strength yet, and it's the end. I can't help but regret taking the cable car. It wouldn't be too difficult to climb from the first floor of the South.

Yungang Grottoes, formerly known as Lingyan Temple and Shifo Temple, are located at the southern foot of Wuzhou Mountain, 17 kilometers west of Datong City, Shanxi Province. It is one of the famous grottoes in China. The excavation of Yungang Grottoes began in the Northern Wei Dynasty. In the third year of the Northern Wei Dynasty (398), Emperor Daowu Tuoba Gui moved the capital from Shengle (now Horqin County) to Pingcheng (now Datong City), and Wuzhou Mountain became the transportation hub between Shengle and Pingcheng. After Emperor Wencheng Tuoba Jun ascended the throne, he ordered the monk leader Tan Yao to preside over the restoration of Buddhism. With the support of Emperor Wencheng, Tan Yao chose the beautiful Wuzhou Mountain, "carved the mountain stone wall, opened five caves, and engraved one Buddha statue each, the tallest of which was 70 feet and the second was 60 feet, with magnificent carvings, the best in the world."
In summer, it is strongly recommended to arrive as early as possible. If you don't park, you can get closer. It is also better to enter Cave 5 and Cave 6, which require a long queue [the shed in the picture is where the queue is, it was about 8.30 in the morning]. It is best to watch CCTV's [Yungang] or [China Grottoes] in advance to learn about history (not necessarily the original historical appearance, mostly inferred by archaeologists). The Five Barbarians era was intertwined and turbulent, and there are many related books. We did our homework and came back to the documentary but still had many questions. You need to reserve enough time for Caves 1-15, especially Caves 5 and 6 are very beautiful. If you can watch the explanation in advance, you will gain a lot. I want to complain about the official explanation at the door. Although there are bronze medals, internships, etc., I feel that after paying the money, people are not distinguished. Whoever catches up is who. The five of us are like a revolving lantern. All the way, they just urge us to go faster. I can't say anything.

Step into half of the history of the Qing Dynasty, and you will see stunning things everywhere After many days in Beijing, I finally checked in at the Prince Gong Mansion that I had been thinking about. I can only describe it with four words: "shocking + stunning"! The size of the garden, the exquisite architecture, and the beauty of the details are completely beyond my expectations. I still savor it for a long time after returning. I must recommend it to those who come later!

I have to praise Teacher Liu's lecture on the Temple of Heaven! He explained patiently and carefully throughout the whole process, provided very considerate service, and designed interesting interactions. The children listened attentively throughout the whole process, gained a lot of useful information, and had a great experience!
Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests Climb up to pray for blessings All wishes will come true It is a magnificent three-layer round hall with three-color glazed tiles on the top, green, yellow and green, representing heaven, earth and all things. It is the only remaining Mingtang-style building in ancient China! Slowly ascending the steps of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, you will see the distant view from a height and rise step by step. There is also a tree planted by Grandpa Zheng Xiaoping in the Temple of Heaven

The tour guide was very nice and patient. The explanation was very detailed and informative. There was no extra charge. The weather was very hot, but the Summer Palace was still cool with a lot of shade, especially near Kunming Lake, which is suitable for going when the weather is hot.
Kuru Pavilion is located on the east embankment south of the newly built palace gate of the Summer Palace. It is commonly known as Bafang Pavilion. It was built in Qianlong in 1752 and was rebuilt in Guangxu. It is set against each other in space with the 17-hole bridge and Nanhu Island. The porch is huge, covering an area of more than 130 square meters, with octagonal heavy spires, three floors in the pavilion are supported by 40 columns, there are upside down dumplings, stool dumplings between the pavilion, and low walls around the outside. The pavilion hangs eight blessings of poetry, two of which are the emperor Qianlong in Qianlong 35 and 36 years respectively.

Highly recommend to experience the cable cars, cable way and slide
Because I was traveling with the elderly and children, I chose to charter a car to the relatively flat Mutianyu Great Wall to take the cable car up. The driver, Master Xu, was enthusiastic and introduced us to various Beijing-style delicacies and scenic spots along the way. Because we arrived early, there were few people, the environment was quiet and the scenery was beautiful.

The Yingxian Wooden Pagoda is one of the three most amazing pagodas in the world. It has no nails or rivets and is exquisitely built. It is a treasure of ancient Chinese architecture. As a Chinese, I am proud of our great motherland. I am also grateful to the Ctrip platform.
The tower itself is nice, but there is only a lonely tower and the main hall, nothing else. The supporting facilities around the scenic spot are not good, and the road is narrow and parking is inconvenient.

The Hanging Temple was first built in the 15th year of the Taihe reign of the Northern Wei Dynasty (491 AD). The existing buildings are mainly wooden structures, with 27 beams embedded deep into the cliff wall. The main hall is 50 meters above the valley floor, and looks like a relief inlaid in a vertical rock wall. The mechanical structure based on the half-inserted flying beams and the rock hidden support technology have made the building still as stable as ever after more than 1,500 years. It was rated as one of the "Top Ten Most Dangerous Buildings in the World" by Time Magazine.
