Piazza della Pilotta

Located in front of the famous Pantheon, the Pantheon is a living fossil of the world's architecture, with a history of more than 2,000 years, and is the only fully preserved Roman Empire architecture in Rome (other Roman Empire buildings have been ruined), which is a must-see for tourists. In the center of the square is an ancient Egyptian obelisk, which has a longer history than the Pantheon. The Rotunda Square is always crowded with tourists, surrounded by several famous cafes and restaurants, one of which is the filming point of the movie Roman Holiday, and it is also a pleasure to sit in the cafe's outdoor seat while drinking coffee and watching tourists from all over the world.

The square is a small place for local people to relax and entertain, just drinking coffee on the square above, there are small shops shopping and so on. There are also vendors on the square selling fruit of the season or something.

The square is located in front of the Pantheon, quite compact and crowded. The position is not flat, but inclined downward towards the Pantheon. In the middle of the square is the Pantheon of Fontanadel and the fountain in the center of the square. The atmosphere was calm, accompanied by music played by some very talented street performers.

A 14.5-meter-high Obelisk stands on the square. The obelisk, formerly built for Egyptian Pharaoh Racis II and standing near Cairo, Egypt, has been moved to Heliopolis, where a star-shaped cross representing Pope Craymon XI is decorated at the top of the obelisk.

The temple is a model of ancient Rome's exquisite architectural technology. It is a huge cylinder of equal width and height, covered with a semi-circular roof. Many famous artists, such as Raphael, were buried here, along with the rulers of the autocratic Italian monarchy. Opposite is Rotonda Square, with beautiful fountains in the center.
