Well kept lawn area right on the water. BBQ grills, playground, restrooms open mostly. Great place to picnic before or after kayaking with I Paddle NY, which launches from this site.

Relaxing beautiful spot to bring the family. We are going back in two weeks. We spend a great deal of time in the Saugerties Hunter mountain area. Excellent places to eat and so much to do.
Not a great beach but provides great access for kayaking to Esopus creek. Big parking lot and a swimming area with a sandy bottom. Water quality depends upon upstream releases at reservoirs.
