Like so many properties run by Hysteric Scotland it's not open to the public and hasn't been for a long time. Despite scaffolding being in position there appears to be no restorative work going on. Ho...
Unfortunately the castle is closed currently as they are doing some (historical) renovation work. There is scaffolding up inside the castle too so even the photographs aren't spectacular.

I really enjoyed having the castle to myself. I collected the key at the hotel & wandered around the cAstle. It's free & worth a visit with a lovely little shoreline close by.

Really worth a visit
