Short Drive From Sesriem Gate
The Elim Dune is easy to find, as you can see it from the Sesriem gate, and it is just a short drive (about 5 km) away. The road to the dune is mostly gravel and overall it was in an average condition...
Worth a visit!
Visited Elim Dune for the sunset on our first night at Sesriem. Was a great place to sit and relax with a Tafel and watch the sunset.

Don't underestimate this dune
A very nice dune to enjoy sunrise or sunset or even for a break in the middle of the day and enjoy a meal!
Fantastic Sundowner at Elim Dune!
We stayed at Dead Valley Lodge and walked there at late afternoon. We saw many Oryxes. Climbing the Dune at right time and take Pictures. What a great experience and time there!
