Carondelet Palace

The presidential palace in Quito is located above the famous Plaza de Independence, a Spanish building with a history of more than 400 years. You can visit specific areas, the whole presidential palace is very large, with its own small garden, very beautiful.



Quito Old Town

The Old Town of Quito is definitely worth a visit. Many attractions such as the Basilica of the National Vow, Columbus's House, the Presidential Palace, the Compañía de Jesus, the Independence Square, etc. are here. The tickets are not expensive and the decorations in the church are very shocking.



Basilica del Voto Nacional

The National Vow Church is called "Basilica" by the locals. It is 151 meters tall and can be seen from any side of the city. It is indeed tall enough. Inside, it is very simple and there are not many things. There is an additional fee to climb to the top, which is not expensive. We were tired and did not go up. Other churches in Quito are much more luxurious than this one.



Middle of the World City

Independence Square

Church of the Society of Jesus
