Zaanse Schans

生长在海边的果果
You must see the windmills with Dutch characteristics. It is a little far from Amsterdam city and you can take the train there. There is a windmill that costs 6 euros to enter and visit. The weather was bad and it was cold. The next stop is Lego Town, where you can see it at the same time.

The Van Gogh Museum is a place worth visiting, showing Van Gogh's life and artistic achievements, you can understand the genius more deeply! The museum shows many of Van Gogh's real works, especially suitable for bringing children. The museum's facilities are also very good, and the audio guide helps to understand the background of Van Gogh's paintings, but it is not particularly detailed, and I hope it can be improved in the future.

Rembrandt's night tour is being restored, followed by the niece of art and many famous Dutch painters, I wore a lecturer to carefully enjoy each work, the National Museum has a lot of collections, like people to set aside enough time
Wooden Shoe Workshop of Zaanse Schans

In the Zaanse Schans windmill village, which is only half an hour away from Amsterdam by train, there is a Dutch wooden shoe museum. The museum is open to the public free of charge and displays many designs of Dutch wooden shoes, far more than the most common styles. There are also regular performances and interactions on making wooden shoes, allowing you to have a deeper understanding of the history and production methods of this traditional wooden shoe. It is a very good attraction. You can also pay attention to a pair of treasures inlaid with diamonds.

Royal Palace Amsterdam

吃喝玩乐记🍸🍸
The Royal Palace of Amsterdam is a magnificent building located on Dam Square in the center of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Here are some of its main attractions: 1. Historical background: The Royal Palace of Amsterdam was originally built as a city hall. It was built in 1648 and designed by architect Jacob van Campen. It was unveiled on July 20, 1655. In 1807 after the Napoleonic Wars, Louis Napoleon, the brother of the French emperor, moved here and turned it into a royal palace. In 1813, Prince William (later King William I) returned the palace to Amsterdam, and it has since become the residence of the King of the Netherlands. 2. Architectural wonder: The stone foundation of the palace is supported by 13,659 wooden piles, which are called the "eighth architectural wonder of the world". 3. Interior decoration: The interior of the palace is gorgeously decorated, and many decorations and artworks are from famous artists such as Rembrandt and Ferdinand Bol. The themes are mostly about the great Amsterdam and the Dutch Republic, such as the reliefs on the main pediment depicting Amsterdam as the ruler of the sea. 4. Royal furniture and artworks: The interior is decorated with furniture in the style of the First French Empire, which is a relic of Louis Bonaparte, the first king of the Netherlands. The palace houses a large collection of art and cultural artifacts, including works by Rembrandt, Ferdinand Boll and Govert Flinck. 5. Modern functions: The Royal Palace is not only an office palace, used for official receptions, state visits and award ceremonies, but is also open to the public for visitors to visit its rich history and architectural beauty. 6. Opening hours and tickets: The Royal Palace is open to the public all year round, generally from 10 am to 5 pm, and the ticket price is about 12.50 euros for adults, 10.00 euros for students, and free for children under 18 years old. 7. Surrounding attractions: When visiting the Royal Palace of Amsterdam, you can also explore the nearby New Church (Nieuwe Kerk), Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, and the Amsterdam Museum. The Royal Palace of Amsterdam is not only a historical symbol of the Netherlands, but also a treasure trove of art and culture, worthy of every tourist's careful appreciation.

I went a little late, forgetting whether it was the last day or the penultimate day, I couldn't see a large sea of flowers, but I still saw some tulips, I was very satisfied, if it was the flowering period, it would be better!

Entry is free which could explain why it was so packed when we went. There’s a cheese making demonstration every half hour or so which was very interesting. There were a lot of sample to try also!
