Ich bin zum zweiten Mal im SORAT AM ALTSTÄDTISCHEM MARKT zu Gast gewesen. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, um den historischen Stadtkern zur erkunden. Zur Neustadt fährt man mit der Tram ein paar hundert Meter weiter die Straße hoch - ideal für uns, wenn man das Auto in der hoteleigenen Tiefgarage abgestellt hat. Die Zimmer zum Wall sind ruhig gelegen, ab und an fährt einmal ein Auto vorbei. Die Fenster kann man öffnen, was für frische Luft im geräumigen Zimmer sorgt. Wir haben die zwei Nächte gut geschlafen. Eine Klimaanlage ist vorhanden, ebenso ein kleiner Kühlschrank und ein TV mit ausreichend großem Bildschirm. Das WLAN ist schnell, das Hochladen von Dateien erfolgte zügig. Das Badezimmer mit Dusche, Sitzhocker und Fön ist gut geschnitten. Alles war gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühhstücksangebot am Buffet ist reichhaltig und sehr gut, es wurde rasch nachgefüllt. Die Servicekräfte waren freundlich und immer zur Stelle, um nachzufragen oder abzutragen - das verdient ein großes Lob von unsererer Seite. Einzig am Empfangstresen des Sorat Hotels sehe ich noch Steigerungspotential, daher auch der Abzug eines Bewertungssterns. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hat es hier an der Zugewandheit dem Gast gegenüber gemangelt. Das Ein- und Auschecken, die Verwahrung der Schlüssel und die Beantwortung einer Frage erfolgten angestrengt und distanziert, der Ton wenig freundlich. Beim Auschecken wurden uns wortlos 2 Rollen Pfefferminzbonbons auf den Tesen gelegt. Eine Nachfrage zum Aufenthalt wie z. B.' Wir hoffen, es hat Ihnen bei uns gefallen” oder ein freundlicher Blick sollten doch Standard sein. Schade! Abgesehen von dieser Irritation ist das SORAT BRANDENBURG sehr zu empfehlen.

We were there in October for 2 nights Sa-Mo. The room was in the EC (we wouldn't book so anymore, since there are only dark tents and when you lift them is fully visible from outside) was bright, modern and conveniently furnished. The bed was very comfortable, ceilings and kitchens ok. But the bath was chic but clearly too small. We can't ever remember being in a hotel with such a small bath. You could really hardly turn. In addition, it was not quite clean and the sealing of the shower was defect, so the ground was under water after the shower. Lighting and ventilation were good. The toilet brushes were very terrible ..... At the mirror in the hall and at the entrance door there were several fat handprints. The room was very quiet, although it was at the beginning of the hotel flow. Breakfast was varied on Sunday, no longer on Monday. Sorry. To praise was the quality of tea - tea drinkers are treated in hotels rather stively. less beautiful was that there were no undertakes. We dislike to put the tea cups on the table. The coffee was filter coffee in thermoscanners - who likes it ...... Marmelade, butter etc. were individually packed plastic packages. We think you could still work at breakfast. We were very disturbed that the breakfast room did not comply with the mask requirements and the staff did not respect them. FAZIT: moderate and a little too expensive for performance.

After having seen the hotel at the arrival from outside, I was first skeptical. I found no indication where the reception is to be found. I surrounded the hotel and entered the Foyer from behind. But then I experienced a very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Now a plus point. I left my baggage and announced my check-in for the late evening. That proved completely unproblematic. In the night, the room was very positively equipped, but I had to notice a lack of maintenance of the equipment. In general, I was satisfied with staying at the Axxon Hotel.
