1. Very spacious room for this price point to be honest. Could be because it's not a major city...
2. Kitchen equipment like induction cooker and pot and bowls and utensils were provided! Makes it possible to cook your own meals (or even just Maggie mee) fridge was very big so can buy drinks to store
3. Location was alright. Located along small alley but very near main road leading to shopping street and Kokura station.
4. Aircon and heater worked well. Great for winter weather
5. Bathroom ventilator was very strong. To the extent that it feels very cold after taking a shower. We tried closing the bathroom door at night and it was literally like a freezer in the morning when we open it.
But also because of the ventilator, our clothes dried fast indoors 🥶
6. Now to the pain points. First got to be the facility management and check in check out process. This property does auto check in meaning there is no physical staff to handle your check in check out throughout. There is no receptionist at all. I made my booking 2- 3 hours prior to arriving at property. At the front door we were prompted to input entry passcode which we had no idea what it was (it's not the reservation number provided by the booking partner like Agoda or trip.com) tried to contact both the hotel helpline (there was a Jp phone number at the entrance but that's all, no other info whatsoever) and also escalated to Agoda (as I made my booking through Agoda for first nights) but no ans. In the end we had to enter property when someone unlocked the front entrance using her own passcode before we could speak to the helpdesk through the tablets.
So it turns out that they claim most travellers would make their reservation at least a day prior to arrival, which was why system didn't capture my booking (yet ironically they allowed booking for same day check in .... When they clearly cannot manage the whole process) shouldn't there be more effort being put in to monitor for same day booking so the traveller doesn't get stuck at the front entrance especially in winter weather? We had to sit at the park nearby while trying to contact the helpdkesks but couldn't get through till the end......
The whole check in process was rather manual, basically you enter the info as prompted on screen then video call the helpline agent to verify before you'll get your passcode to your room. (All through tablet)
Security seems alright if you're ok with the idea of using a keypad lock instead of having a physical room card? I guess customers just have to always make sure no one is looking when entering the passcode at the front door. Btw same passcode is used to enter hotel front entrance and for your room lock.
All in all the biggest issue we found was the check in check out process. Overall stay was above average.
Location: Pretty decent, a brisk 7-8 minute walk to Hakata Subway Station, or a leisurely 10 minutes.
Environment: The room was spacious, and the bed was huge. There's even a table for dining, and enough space for the baby to move around. The only downside is that the area around the hotel is a bit quiet, but there's a convenience store nearby that covers basic needs.
Cleanliness: The room was quite clean, except for the slightly dirty floor. Everything else was great, and it's super good value for money. I'd definitely stay here again.
The location is decent, and parking is convenient. However, the carpet was quite dirty, and charging devices was a hassle. The bathtub was also quite small, though the water pressure was excellent. We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which made it easy to cook our own meals with fresh ingredients. Overall, it's economical and offers great value for money, making it an excellent choice for a homestay.
The room is very clean and spacious~ It's very comfortable for two people to live in
The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas
The only drawback is that there is no full-length mirror, only a half-length mirror (X
It's easy to check in with a tablet, don't worry
The location is convenient and it's close to the subway station for both lines
I would like to choose this place next time😂
p.s. The garbage is not cleaned and the towels are not changed~
There is a washing machine in the room, but we only stayed for three days so we didn't really need it

I've only ever stayed in resort hotels before, so I was a bit nervous trying this type of hotel for the first time. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was – the exterior, the lobby, and the room itself were all spotless. I had a bit of trouble with the self check-in because I hadn't received the ID beforehand for some reason, but they patiently explained everything to me over the phone right then and there. Definitely double-check your check-in ID and the main entrance code in advance! The room was truly beautiful, stylish and chic, like a brand new apartment. Even the kids loved it so much they wanted to stay another night. While there's no dining on-site, it's not a problem at all since there are supermarkets, convenience stores, and many restaurants within walking distance. It would be perfect if there was a private parking lot for guests, but since there isn't, we used a nearby paid parking facility.
Since we had an early flight the next morning, it was a good option to stay overnight.
It's an unmanned hotel with full self-service, and overall it's very nice.
It's very close to the airport, making it a great place to stay overnight.
There are similar hotels nearby, all good options.
It's a bit small for three people, but the space is adequate for two.
There's no elevator, so it's not recommended for those with mobility issues or heavy luggage.
Great bargain for a hotel for people who just need to catch some sleep in between busy days. You have to do practically everything yourself, but for the price it’s a deal. One great surprise was there was a washing machine. Of course you have to know a bit of Japanese to use it (Google translate), but I was able to even do a quick wash of yesterday’s sweaty clothes. You get your typical toothbrush, comb, towels, and robes. Room was clean and tidy. Shower was clean and expectedly small. I’d definitely stay again.
The hotel felt clean and tidy overall. We went with our 6-year-old, and the space was perfectly adequate for the three of us. I was a bit worried since there weren't many reviews, but I highly, highly recommend it! Don't hesitate, book it! 👍🏻 The only thing is, it's an unmanned hotel, so basic room cleaning isn't included and costs extra. However, trash disposal and extra towels (amenities) were available. Great vibe, excellent cleanliness, and a decent location. Recommended!
Overall clean but still some crumbs and bits on table and sofa left by previous guests.
The unit i was in the bathroom Ventilation isn't working. So the vapours and humidity remains inside for long period.
Distance and accessibility is great if will to take bus or walk to train.
Quiet neighbourhood. Peaceful.
Will stand out if you are noisy.
The blanket was so dirty that as soon as I pulled it over me, I started to itch. What's more, the utensils provided in the room also had stains, indicating poor hygiene standards. However, despite its compact size, the place was very well-equipped. It came with a microwave and a washing machine, which was incredibly convenient for cooking and laundry. For the price, it offered great value. On the negative side, there were no staff on-site, making the check-in process quite a hassle. Additionally, there wasn't even a floor fan, so the room got incredibly stuffy and hot. Overall, it was an acceptable stay – nothing special, but not terrible either.

GGuest UserThe location was perfect for exploring the heart of Tenjin. There were convenience stores and supermarkets right next to the hotel, so I was able to frequent them before heading to the hotel. There were also plenty of bars in the alleyways! I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Fukuoka! However, when I checked in, I followed the instructions on the tablet, but it didn't work. I had to call and barely managed to get in. ㅠㅠ
Ssoloman_wangGreat view! The location is perfect right next to a small river, offering views of the distant houses.
The room is huge and has a sofa.
There's a kitchen where you can cook Wagyu beef.
The bathroom has a relaxing bathtub.
I'd suggest changing the mattress.
Canal City Hakata is within walking distance, very convenient.
어어슬렁ふらふらI often visit Hakata, but this was my first time staying at an apartment hotel.
I received my door number via email immediately after making my reservation, and I was able to leave my luggage before checking in the next day.
I had already pre-checked in on my mobile phone, so I conveniently scanned the QR code and had a video call with the staff. After that, I was assigned a room, received the password, and checked in.
It seemed perfect for families.
The shower and toilet are separate, and it's a typical 1LDK.
It's located in Sumiyoshi Nichome, but it's close to Haruyoshi, making it easy to get to Nakasu, Yakuin, and Tenjin.
However, it's a bit far from Hakata Station.
While there was no noise between walls, there was some noise between floors.
It's right next to the Naka River, so the view is great.
ZZihudie555The hotel is an 11-minute walk from the Hakata transportation hub, with a 7-Eleven nearby. We arrived at 9:30 PM on the first night and checked in smoothly using the self-service machine. It felt very safe to go to the convenience store next door at 10 PM to grab some snacks. The way to open the room door was quite old-fashioned; you had to open a key box with a code to get the key, and then put it back after unlocking. This was a bit inconvenient. Remember that the elevator is extremely busy before 10 AM every day due to the large number of people checking out. We had to wait a long time for the elevator every morning. When we checked out to go to our next hotel, there was no luggage storage available, so we had to pay 1600 JPY to find the nearest storage facility. This was really inconvenient. I hope the hotel considers setting up a paid luggage storage service.
GGuest UserSize of the room is good enough for a family. Convenient location to have family mark, local restaurants and pharmacy around. Keyless room door access is amazing, I don’t have to worry my key card while going out.
But we have difficulty to get into the main entrance without any password on our 1st day arrival. It made us sooo confusing that there has no front desk. Still wondering why I didn’t receive any email or msg before the check in date. Luckily one of the Japanese couple help us to solve while they passed by.
A bit strange but never expected I have to pay extra 200yen per person before check in from a machine. Still don’t understand why we don’t have any notice before booking but on arrival.
Wish all that can help the hotel to improve better in future.
KKa LaiBefore checking into the apartment hotel, I emailed the staff to double-check my reservation for a double bed. To reassure me, the staff sent me a 360-degree video of the room. My family and I were very satisfied with the room's amenities, except for the small dining table. During our week-long stay, we needed to change our trash bags. We emailed the staff in advance to request replacement bags and have them collected. The Wi-Fi in my room wasn't working, so we had to use the Wi-Fi on other floors. The bathroom was spacious enough for a family of four to stand. I'd definitely stay here again if I were to visit Fukuoka with my family again.
GGuest UserFasilitas lengkap sekali ada mesin cuci dan dapur yang sangat memudahkan sehari hari. Tapi untuk kebersihan ada sedikit bagian yang kotor. Tapi worth it
