The car was a little worn, but I had expected this when I chose the cheapest company. I actually don’t mind this at all as there’s less likelihood of an issue if for some reason you do end up with some light damage to the car. I was under the impression when I booked that this company had cars located at the airport, but their office is actually a few kilometres away, I don’t know whether this was my misunderstanding or an incorrect listing. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, and all processes to hire the car were very speedy. There was no tedious upsell of insurance or 400 forms in triplicate. Overall very happy with the experience.

This was my first time traveling to Okinawa and my first time renting a car for a self-drive trip. It was a great experience. The car was clean inside and out and in good condition. The owners were very friendly and spoke Chinese, making things even more convenient than I expected. The rental car was also quite cheap. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) was a bit expensive (because I didn't use it very often). 😜

You get what you pay for. We paid extra to upgrade to a better car: a Suzuki Hasira. I think it was a great deal because the car is very beautiful, looks great, and performs very well. If we had rented a Toyota, it would probably have cost twice as much.

The price was very reasonable, and they offered free airport pick-up and drop-off in Naha. The car pick-up process was quick and easy, and they had a wide variety of models available. You can discuss the color of your rental car in advance; they reserved a pink Suzuki for us – it was adorable, and the interior was very clean. Highly recommended!
