The service was excellent, both in the cabins and restaurants; they provided a great emotional experience. There were many activities on board, keeping us busy every day. I thought 4 days and 3 nights would be enough when I booked, but there were actually so many things I didn't have time to do. I regret not booking 5 days and 4 nights. The traditional room decorations and Pixel Dust were fantastic. Everyone was very creative, and returning to my room each day was a delightful surprise. I joined a group chat for passengers on the same cruise, and everyone shared information and helped each other—it was very thoughtful. Looking forward to the next new ship!

The service staff were all quite good, from the housekeepers to the restaurant staff. The accommodation was also quite nice, and the facilities were relatively new. However, the hairdryer was a bit awkward as it only worked when pressed down. The food at the Hollywood restaurant was the best, and there were also interactive Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck activities at the table. The animator's restaurant had excellent puppet shows, and all the shows were great. It was difficult to book tickets for characters, though. The teen activity room had very short opening hours; it always closed after a short while. It was also unreasonable that children of different ages couldn't play together, especially boys, as there were fewer opportunities to play. It's more suitable for families with younger children.

Singapore Disneyland's Explorer is definitely worth experiencing. It feels like living in a dream world, with daily encounters with various Disney characters. You'll never go hungry on board, as various restaurants open at specific times. The shows are also meticulously choreographed and exceptionally entertaining. There wasn't much to buy in the onboard shops; I felt the selection wasn't as extensive or refined as Shanghai Disneyland or Hong Kong Disneyland. By the way, if you've already booked a room, avoid booking rooms next to the elevators. It's not that the elevators are noisy—in fact, they're not at all—but because behind them is the staff's elevator shaft and their work area. In the mornings, staff come and go frequently; food delivery and room service all use this door, making a creaking sound as it opens and slams as it closes. You can't sleep in from around 7 am to 10 am. I stayed in room 9172, a balcony room. I'm warning you to avoid this. Everything else was fantastic. I highly recommend this cruise trip. For the kids' club, children under 10 can get a wristband on the 8th floor and freely enter and exit by swiping the wristband. The club also has dedicated instructors who lead the activities, making it very enjoyable for adults as well.

The Disney cruise was absolutely amazing! I was out early and back late every day, exploring everything on board – dining, watching shows, interactive activities, movies, crafts, and fireworks at sea! I walked an average of 20,000 steps a day, and every day was so wonderful! Friends from all over the world were so friendly, always saying hi and exchanging gifts. It was so harmonious! I love it so much! Sending you love! 🫰🏻

I felt this trip was incredibly cost-effective, with almost everything included in the price. The shows were especially fantastic; the Remember Show and the Marvel show were particularly memorable – awesome! The service was excellent; it felt like being immersed in a sea of joy. The only downside was that my daughter had a slight cold, and we called front desk to ask for a thermometer, but we waited and never received one. The services within the established procedures were practically perfect, but the handling of unexpected events outside of them could be improved. One small suggestion: there were a lot of Chinese people on the cruise ship, so I hope that all signs and apps have Chinese language support, and that there are more staff members who speak Chinese!

I'm so happy that Disney Adventure Cruises has come to Asia! I planned the trip and booked the tickets more than six months in advance. To be honest, 4 days and 3 nights wasn't enough time to enjoy it all. The kids had a blast! There were so many shows and activities on board, we didn't even get to see all the shops. The last night, because we didn't manage our time well, we didn't have time to buy souvenirs… that was the biggest regret… It was fantastic, I'm definitely going again!

Disney cruises are truly a fairytale paradise, with so many activities that it's impossible to participate in them all. Disembarking and boarding were incredibly smooth with no queues, and the food was unique and delicious. All the facilities on board were brand new, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I'll definitely go again!

It was truly a fantastic experience with great value for money. Every staff member on board was incredibly friendly and provided excellent emotional support. The food was absolutely amazing – steak every day! There were also many attractions, but the roller coasters at sea had incredibly long queues, so it wasn't possible to avoid peak times. On the last day, we were halfway through the queue and then they wouldn't let us in because they said they were under maintenance. Other attractions were fine, and meet-and-greets could be booked in advance. Finally, let me talk about the room – it was fantastic! The pictures made it seem small and ordinary, but the actual room was very well-designed and the facilities were new and excellent. The bedding was very comfortable, and I slept soundly every night. I personally think Disney Cruise Line is a brand I would definitely fly with again. P.S. The housekeeping was superb; they cleaned twice a day, paying attention to every detail.

As a first-time Disney cruise experience, the staff provided excellent emotional support, and guests were more motivated by the IP and the emotional connection it created. There were activities suitable for all ages! As a family with children, I particularly appreciated the free childcare services. Adults could do crafts or relax, and the family activities were also very appealing. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the incredibly hot queues for the roller coasters at sea. I'd definitely go again if I had the chance!

Frequently Asked Questions

You must carry a passport with an expiration date that meets the destination's requirements (usually valid for at least 6 months after the cruise ends; please refer to the actual boarding information), your cruise boarding pass (e-ticket or printed copy), and any visas required by all countries/regions on your itinerary. Depending on your nationality, other identification documents (such as a residence card or national ID card) may also be required. Please confirm the final requirements with the relevant embassies or consulates and the cruise line before departure.
Modern large cruise ships are equipped with advanced stabilizers and are routed to avoid rough seas, meaning most passengers never experience noticeable seasickness. If you are prone to motion sickness, consider booking a cabin on the mid-to-lower decks where movement is minimal. Other helpful tips include packing motion sickness medication, wearing anti-nausea wristbands, and getting fresh air on open decks. Note: Medication availability at the onboard medical center varies, so please check with your specific cruise line.
The vast majority of cruises automatically charge a fixed service fee to your daily cruise card account. For specific rates and collection methods, please refer to the information published by the cruise line after boarding. This fee typically covers basic gratuities for room service, dining staff, and more. Unless you wish to tip extra for exceptional service, additional cash tips are not required. We recommend consulting the cruise line's official guidelines when booking or after boarding.
Most international cruise lines use the US Dollar as their onboard currency. Upon boarding, you will link a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.) to your cruise card. The ship operates on a "cashless" system, meaning all onboard purchases (dining, drinks, shopping, service fees) are charged directly to your account and settled at the end of the trip. While you don't need large amounts of cash on board, we recommend bringing some small bills (USD or local currency) for minor expenses and tips at ports of call.
Usually, within an hour after leaving port, your phone will connect to a maritime roaming network, which carries extremely high call and data roaming charges (often exceeding US$ 5/minute). We strongly advise putting your phone in Airplane Mode and relying solely on the ship's Wi-Fi. Most ships offer paid Wi-Fi packages. Purchasing a voyage-long package is generally much more cost-effective than paying by the day. Some luxury cruise lines include basic Wi-Fi in your fare.
Every international cruise ship is equipped with a medical center staffed by at least one internationally certified doctor and nurse. They are fully capable of treating common illnesses (colds, gastroenteritis) and minor injuries. Please note: Onboard medical care is quite expensive, and the pharmacy has limited stock. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with cruise medical coverage and packing an ample supply of any prescription or over-the-counter medications you regularly use.
After boarding, you must attend a mandatory safety drill (usually required to be completed within 24 hours). During the drill, you will hear the ship's dedicated alarm signal. Please immediately put on your life jacket (located in your cabin closet) and follow the evacuation route map on the back of your door to your designated assembly station. Please keep in mind: Do not use the elevators, follow the crew's instructions, and stay calm. Even if you have been on multiple cruises, you must participate in the drill on every new voyage. Please refer to the ship's on-site broadcasts and guidance for the specific signal and assembly location.
On the night before disembarkation, please follow the instructions issued by the cruise line to attach baggage tags to your checked luggage (excluding clothing, documents and valuables you will need the next morning) and place it in the designated area outside your stateroom door. Keep your passport, room key card and a small amount of carry-on belongings with you. On the day of disembarkation, please vacate your stateroom before the specified time and disembark in batches as notified. Do not linger in the stateroom. Finally, check all drawers, wardrobes and the safe. For the specific schedule and baggage requirements, please refer to the "Disembarkation Guide" provided by the cruise line.

Maybe a Cruise After All? But Only for the Nature.

Maybe a Cruise After All? But Only for the Nature.

Anyone who knows me knows that I’d much rather spend the whole day hiking through the mountains or strolling by lakes. So, taking a cruise was never really on my bucket list; I always assumed it was mostly just lounging around with endless entertainment. However, I recently started doing some reading, and it turns out there are actually routes focused entirely on rugged nature. That definitely changed my perspective a bit. An expedition to Antarctica on the Magellan Explorer sounds especially incredible to me. It's not one of those massive floating amusement parks, but a smaller vessel that lets you get up close and personal with penguins and whales. The cruises to Alaska, sailing past gigantic glaciers and icy blue bays, also sound like an absolute must-see. It’s obviously a completely different style of travel than what I’m used to, but there's something really appealing about the idea of exploring the wilderness by day and sleeping on the water at night. It might just be worth considering for my next big trip.
