Tier Upgrade
You can upgrade by meeting the requirement for the next tier within the current tier's validity period.
For example, if you are a Platinum member, to upgrade to the Diamond tier, you need to complete 8 orders and spend 1,000 USD before your current membership expires.

Maintain Tier Status
If you meet the requirements of your current tier when it expires, your membership will be automatically extended for 1 more year. Failure to meet the requirements results in tier downgrade.
Other Changes
After implementing the new upgrade rules, you must have completed at least one hotel stay within the past year to be eligible for airport VIP lounge access. Rewards will be given when you reach a new membership tier or successfully maintain your current tier rather than at the beginning of each year.

When will the new membership system take effect?

The new rules are expected to take effect at the end of October. The above content is for advance notice only.

Will my current tier change after the new rules are released?

We will maintain your current membership tier until the end of its validity period. If you have met the requirements for a new membership tier during this period, we will upgrade your membership tier in real time. After the validity period of your membership tier ends, we will calculate your new membership tier based on your bookings and spending in the past year following the new rules. If you have completed Diamond tier maintenance before the new rules are released, we will extend your Diamond tier by one year after the validity expiration date.

What are the rules for tier upgrades and downgrades in the new membership system?

Upgrade: Before your current membership tier expires, you can be upgraded to the next higher tier in real time if you meet the requirements for each tier, as per the rules in the announcement.

Upgrade example: If you are a Platinum member and want to upgrade to a Diamond member, you need to complete 8 bookings and spend USD 1,000 before your current membership tier expires.

Tier maintenance or downgrade: When your current membership tier expires, if you meet the requirements, you can continue to maintain your current tier as per the rules in the announcement. If you do not meet the requirements for the corresponding tier, you will be downgraded to the corresponding tier based on your bookings in the past year. Note: If you are downgraded from Gold or a higher tier, you will be downgraded to Gold at the minimum, regardless of your booking status.

Tier maintenance example: If you are a Platinum member and have completed 3 bookings during your current tier's validity period, your Platinum membership will be extended for 1 year after it expires.

Downgrade example: If you are a Diamond member and have only completed 1 booking during the validity period of your current tier, you will be downgraded to a Gold member.

How to accumulate the number of valid bookings and amount of spending?

Bookings are counted towards membership upgrades after travel is completed. The actual payment amount of the booking will also be counted towards membership upgrades. We will calculate the USD value of your booking amount based on the exchange rate of the payment currency at the time of booking confirmation. If the amount changes (e.g. due to refunds or additional bookings), the accumulated USD value will be updated according to the proportion of the amount change.

What's the definition of an Eligible Booking?

Eligible bookings need to be completed bookings from specific product lines, which include Hotels, Flights, Flight + Hotel, Attractions and Tours, Trains, Car Rentals, Airport Transfers, and Cruises.

What changes will be made to the distribution of rewards after the new rules are released?

The benefit distribution period has been changed from within a calendar year to within the tier validity period. Take Free Airport VIP Lounge Access as an example. Previously, Diamond members could use benefits twice within a calendar year. Now, they can use them twice within the tier validity period. New benefits will be sent to the corresponding tier user accounts after the new membership system is launched. Stay tuned!

What changes will there be in lounge rewards after the new rules are released?

After reaching Platinum tier or higher, airport lounge benefits will be activated once you have completed a hotel stay within one year. If the conditions are met, the benefits will be automatically unlocked. Current benefits that you have received will not be affected. This restriction applies to new benefits issued after the new rules are implemented.
