There are currently 5 Trip.com Rewards tiers, which are Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Diamond+. More bookings, higher tiers, greater rewards.
In order to upgrade, you have to meet the upgrade requirements of each tier, which are shown in the chart below.

If you are Platinum tier or above, you will be downgraded if you do not meet the tier maintenance requirements during the validity period of your current tier. We will adjust your tier based on your booking and spending amount during this period, but your tier will not drop below Gold.
Tier maintenance example: If you are a Platinum member and have completed 3 bookings during your current tier's validity period, your Platinum membership will be extended for 1 year after it expires.
Downgrade example: If you are a Diamond member and have only completed 1 booking during the validity period of your current tier, you will be downgraded to a Gold member.
Bookings are only eligible for calculation when they are completed bookings of certain product lines.

Spending Amount Calculation Rule
When bookings are calculated toward your upgrade progress, the corresponding spending will also be taken into account. If you paid in local currency, we will convert it to USD based on the exchange rate on the date of booking confirmation.
If you refund your booking, the spending amount calculated towards your progress will be adjusted according to the proportion of your refund.
Note: For car rental bookings, the following amounts will not count toward upgrades: additional equipment (such as child seats), deposits, and deposit deductions. For train bookings, the admin fees deducted after ticket refunds will not be counted toward upgrades. For airport transfer booking, the overtime waiting fees paid offline will not be counted.
If you cancel a booking that was already calculated into your tier upgrade progress, the booking and spending requirements for the upgrade will increase accordingly.
We will maintain your current membership tier until the end of its validity period. If you have met the requirements for a new membership tier during this period, we will upgrade your membership tier in real time. After the validity period of your membership tier ends, we will calculate your new membership tier based on your bookings and spending in the past year following the new rules. If you have completed Diamond tier maintenance before the new rules are released, we will extend your Diamond tier by one year after the validity expiration date.

Why can't I use the No Admin Fee for Train Refunds reward for my booking?
When you book a train on Trip.com, you can enjoy the No Admin Fee for Train Refunds reward. If you find that you are unable to use them, it may be due to the following reasons:
This reward must be added to your train ticket at the time of booking.
If you have already booked your train ticket without adding this reward, your refund will not be exempt from the admin fee.
The refund fee waiver can currently be used on the app only. The refund fee waiver is only applicable to train tickets for railways operating in the UK, Europe, South Korea, mainland China, and Hong Kong. It cannot be used for Taiwan point-to-point train tickets, Taiwan High Speed Rail ticket pick-up codes, Eurail passes, Italy train passes, UK Season and Flexi tickets and Railcards, bus tickets, and ferry tickets.
I used the No Admin Fee for Train Refunds reward, why is there still a fee for refunding my train ticket?
The refund fee waiver can only be used to waive refund fees incurred when refunding tickets. It does not cover booking fees or delivery fees incurred when refunding mainland China and Hong Kong train bookings.
Why were my rewards used even though I didn't refund my train ticket?
The refund fee waiver will be effective immediately after the train tickets are issued. If tickets are not refunded afterward, the waiver will not be returned. If tickets cannot be issued or the user cancels payment, the waiver will be returned.

I'm a Platinum member, why can't I use my Free Airport VIP Lounge Access reward?
When you book a flight on Trip.com, you can enjoy Free Airport VIP Lounge Access. If you find that you are unable to use it, this may be due to the following reasons:
1. You have used up your reward quota.
2. The activation requirement has not been met. In order to activate Free Airport VIP Lounge Access, you must have completed a hotel booking made on Trip.com within the past year.
3. There isn't an eligible airport VIP lounge at the departure airport or terminal for your flight booking. You can check the list of lounges through the link in "My Rewards" page on the Trip.com app.
4. You have exceeded the latest reservation date, please make an appointment for an airport VIP lounge at least one day before your flight's departure.
How can I use the airport VIP lounge I booked?
1. Find the airport VIP lounge you booked through the associated flight booking on Trip.com or the contact email you provided
2. Check the location and make your way to the lounge
3. Enter the airport VIP lounge using the QR code provided
If I redeem the Free Airport VIP Lounge Access but decide not to use it this time, can I use it for my next trip?
Yes, you can cancel the airport VIP lounge reservation within 15 days after your flight's departure. If you don't use the lounge within 15 days after your flight departs, the system will automatically cancel it for you.
Once cancelled, the reward quota will be returned to your account.
However, please ensure that your membership tier is still valid at the time of cancellation, otherwise, the reward will automatically become invalid.

How can I activate my eSIM?
Once you've made your booking, you will receive an eSIM activation email, which will include an activation QR code. Follow the instructions in the email to download and activate your eSIM.
When you arrive at your destination, and you want to start using the network, go to your phone settings and turn on the eSIM option. If you turn on the eSIM option in a country other than the eSIM covered countries, the eSIM will become invalid or the usage time will be calculated in advance.
Make sure the Data Roaming option is enabled for your eSIM.
How can I check if my device is compatible with eSIMs?
You can select the "Use Now" button for this reward to be redirected to the product page. Then, check the "Applicable models" section to see if your device supports eSIMs.
You can also check through checking your phone EID in this way: Dial *#06# on your phone. Generally, if your phone has an EID, it means that eSIMs can be used. If your phone has no EID, eSIMs cannot usually be used.
If I cancel my eSIM booking, can I use my reward next time?
The validity period for the eSIM card is 30 days from the date of booking. If it has not been activated and is still within the validity period, you can cancel your booking and the reward will be returned to your account.

I'm a Diamond+ member, why can't I use my Airport Transfer Upgrade reward?
When you book an airport transfer on Trip.com, you can enjoy the Airport Transfer Upgrade. If you find that you are unable to use them, it may be due to the following reasons:
1. The airport transfer is not available in your language & region
2. Either the original or upgraded vehicle model is not available in the selected destination
3. The price of the upgraded vehicle model is lower than that of the original vehicle model
4. The price difference between the upgraded vehicle model and the original vehicle model exceeds the free upgrade subsidy limit: Standard Car upgrades to Medium Car with a US$50 limit, Medium Van(7 Seater) upgrades to Premium Van (7 Seater) with a US$100 limit.
If I cancel my airport transfer booking, can I use my reward next time?
Yes. If you cancel your airport transfer booking, the reward quota will be automatically refunded to your Account.
In most cases, you can cancel airport transfer bookings for free up to 24 hours before departure. For more details, please refer to the policy for the specific airport transfer booking.

Trip.com Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
The Trip.com Rewards Program (" Program ") is a loyalty program offered by Trip.com Travel Singapore Pte. Ltd. (" Trip.com ") to frequent Trip.com customers at the sole discretion of Trip.com and is available only to individuals who have registered as Trip.com Members in accordance with these Trip.com Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (" Terms ").
By registering for an Member's Account on Trip.com, you will automatically be enrolled as a member of the Program (" Member "). The terms "you" and "your" throughout these Terms refer to any Member. By accessing a Member's Account and participating in the engagement activities on the Trip.com platform, including making bookings and obtaining/using Trip Coins in any manner, you agree with these Terms.
As a Member, you have the responsibility to read and understand these Terms as well as other information published by Trip.com relating to the Program in order to fully understand your rights and obligations. Please contact Trip.com customer support if you have any questions relating to the Program, and we will reply to you within two weeks.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop utilizing the Program and its associated rewards, including Trip Coins, and provide written notice to Trip.com. After receiving the notice, all remaining rewards and Trip Coins in such Member's Account will be null and void by Trip.com.
- General
- The Program, including its Membership and Trip Coins issued under it, is a loyalty program offered to our Trip.com customers to promote the use of the Trip.com platform. The Program is implemented in accordance with these Terms. Certain Program features (including Trip.com Member Day) and benefits may be subject to further terms and conditions as set out separately.
- A Member's Account is personal and only for use by the registered Member of the Account. It cannot be transferred or sold to anyone else. Each individual may only register one Member's Account. You may not use multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. Trip.com reserves the right to cancel any bookings made by Trip.com Members who engage in fraudulent, disruptive, or abusive behavior or who violate these Terms.
- Trip.com reserves the right to modify and/or terminate the Program and its features and benefits (including all Trip Coins benefits and upgrades) at Trip.com's sole discretion without prior notice (even if these changes may affect your ability to use the benefits and rewards that you have already accumulated).
This includes (but is not limited to) changes to:- These Terms;
- Ways to earn or use Trip Coins;
- Qualification and renewal criteria for the tiers in the Program;
- Availability of rewards; and
- Features of special offers and promotions to Members of different Membership tiers.
- It is the responsibility of Members to keep themselves up to date in respect of the Program and these Terms, and any subsequent changes. Any continued use of the benefits and Trip Coins given under this Program will be deemed to be acceptance of any amendments.
- Trip.com may monitor or investigate a Member's Account at any time without prior notice to ensure compliance with these Terms. During any such investigation, the Member's Account may be suspended. In the event Trip.com suspects or has reasonable grounds to believe that a Member's Account shows signs of fraud, suspicious activity, violation of these Terms, or other improper conduct (including but not limited to obtaining Trip Coins through fake transactions, fraud, applying for malicious refunds, making multiple bookings, or selling, transferring, or exchanging Trip Coins or promo codes, submitting false information, hacking accounts, violating laws, or other behavior that Trip.com deems to be malicious), Trip.com may immediately without prior notice disable and remove all or part of the benefits or rewards provided to you under this Program (including disabling of Trip Coins and promo codes in the Member's Account), remove Membership tiers, or close or suspend a Member's Account.
- Termination:
- A Member may terminate their Membership by providing written notice to Trip.com. All remaining rewards and Trip Coins in the Member's Account will be null and void upon receipt of such notice by Trip.com.
- A Member's Account and Membership may be terminated without prior notice in the event of any suspected or actual non-compliance with these Terms, as set out in Clause 5 above.
- Trip.com may terminate the Program at any time. Upon termination, you will have thirty (30) days from the date the Program termination is announced to use any available Trip Coins and rewards remaining in your Account. After that date, any remaining Trip Coins, rewards, and benefits will be forfeited without compensation.
- Membership
- The Program will assign one of the following Membership tiers to each Member (" Membership tiers "):
- Silver;
- Gold;
- Platinum;
- Diamond;
- Diamond+.
- Each Membership tier offers different rewards, with the higher tier providing more rewards than lower tiers.
- All Members shall automatically be assigned with a Silver Membership tier upon account registration.
- Membership tiers will be determined based on the Member's completed Eligible Bookings (as defined below) and minimum spending during the Membership tier's validity period according to the table below:

For the avoidance of doubt, Members may not skip Membership tiers.Illustration: The Member obtains a Platinum Membership tier on 10 September 2024. The validity of the Platinum Membership tier will commence on 10 September 2024 and end on 30 September 2025. - Maintenance of Membership Tier: In the event the Member meets the Membership tier's requirements during the validity period of the current Membership tier, the validity period of the Membership tier will automatically extend for an additional term in accordance with the validity period of such Membership tier.Illustration: The Member is currently a Diamond+ Member, with the Diamond+ Membership tier expiring on 30 September 2024. The Member achieved USD 12,000 spending during the Diamond+ Membership tier validity period. The Member's Diamond+ Membership tier will be automatically extended on 1 October 2024 for an additional 12 calendar months (up to the last day of that calendar month).
- Downgrade of Membership Tier: When the validity period of the Membership tier expires and the Member did not meet the current or next Membership tier's requirements during the validity period, the new Membership tier will be recalculated based on the Eligible Bookings completed and the spending amounts during the current Membership tier's validity period according to the requirements for each Membership tier.Illustration: The Member is currently a Diamond Member, with the Diamond Membership tier expiring on 30 September 2024. The Member achieved 3 Eligible Bookings during the Diamond Membership tier validity period. The Member will become a Platinum Member starting from 1 October 2024.

- The spend for each Eligible Booking (after applying Trip.com promo codes and discounts, but before any third-party partner discounts, including those from payment and credit card partners) will count towards the minimum spend requirements for the Diamond and Diamond+ Membership tiers. This calculation will be made on the same date that the Eligible Booking is considered for Membership Tier requirements, as outlined in Clause B.6.a above.
- Bookings which are subsequently cancelled and the spending on such cancelled bookings will not count towards the meeting of Membership Tier requirements, even if they were initially included as an Eligible Booking. In the event any such cancelled booking was initially included in the calculation of the Membership Tier requirements, Trip.com shall, at its sole discretion, deduct the number of Eligible Bookings and the spending accordingly from your Membership account, or increase the Membership Tier requirements accordingly for the next Membership Tier upgrade.
- Only Eligible Bookings with minimum spending of more than 0 USD (after platform vouchers and discounts,but before third party partners (including payment and credit card partners) discounts) will be included in the calculation of the Membership Tier requirements.
- To avoid doubt, purchase of Trip.com Gift Cards will not contribute towards minimum spend requirements. However, amounts paid towards an Eligible Booking using a Trip.com Gift Card will contribute towards the minimum spend requirements.
- When conversion of spending from any foreign currency to USD is required, such conversion shall be calculated using an exchange rate determined on the date of the booking confirmation.
- Membership Rewards
- Rewards: All Trip.com Members will enjoy various rewards issued by the Membership tier they have achieved or obtained on Member Day, as set out on the Trip.com Rewards Program Membership page.
- Issuance and Expiration:
- Specific Membership tier rewards will be issued to you upon attaining that specific Membership tier, for use from date of issuance, unless otherwise stated.
- Unused rewards provided under the Membership tier will automatically expire at the end of the validity period, unless otherwise stated. There will be no extension of the validity period for unused rewards. For the avoidance of doubt, Trip Coins issued under the Program will expire in accordance with the terms relating to Trip Coins.
- Terms and conditions apply to the use of specific rewards as set out below or as otherwise specified on the Trip.com website or app:
Reward Terms and Conditions (a) Free Airport VIP Lounge Access Instructions for Use:
- To redeem this reward, the Member must complete 1 hotel booking on Trip.com within the last 12 months.
- When booking flights on Trip.com, you can only apply this reward if there is an eligible VIP lounge at the departure airport.
- VIP lounge passes are not available for Flight + Hotel bookings.
- The latest time to redeem the lounge access is 23:59:59 on the day before the date of flight departure.
- You will receive a QR code that you can use to access the VIP lounge upon completion of flight bookings. You can get the code either on the booking completion page or via email.
- Amenities and services, usage method, usage duration, and cancellation and change policies vary by VIP lounge. Refer to the terms and conditions of the relevant lounge for details.
Cancellation Policy:
- The lounge reservation can be cancelled free of charge if it is not used within 15 days after the departure of the flight.
- If you do not cancel or use the lounge within 15 days after the departure of the flight, the system will cancel it automatically.
- If the lounge reservation is cancelled during the validity period of your Membership tier, the unused reward will be automatically refunded to your account.
- If the lounge reservation is cancelled after your Membership tier has expired, the unused reward will become invalid automatically.
(b) Free Global eSIM Data Package Instructions for use:
- Book an eSIM with the "Platinum Member", "Diamond Member", or "Diamond+ Member" labels and apply this reward to use it free of charge.

Cancellation policy:
- If the eSIM can be cancelled for free, the reward quota used for this booking will be returned to your account. If not, the reward quota you used for this booking will not be returned.

(c) Airport Transfer Model Upgrade Instructions for Use:
- When booking airport transfers on the Trip.com app, you can use this reward for a free upgrade to specified vehicle models. Eligible vehicle models will be marked with a "Member Rewards: Free Upgrade" label on the listing page.
- This reward cannot be applied in the following situations: (i) when either the original or upgraded vehicle model is not available in the selected destination on the Trip.com app; (ii) when the original price of the upgraded vehicle model is lower than that of the original vehicle model; (iii) when the price difference between the upgraded vehicle model and the original vehicle model exceeds the free upgrade subsidy limit: Standard Car upgrades to Medium Car with a $50 limit, and Medium Van (Max. 6) upgrades to Premium Van (Max. 6) with a $100 limit.
- Using the airport transfer upgrade may result in a change of the airport transfer service provider. Please note that different service providers have varying policies and services.
Cancellation Policy:
- If you cancel your airport transfer booking, the reward quota used on this booking will be returned to your account.

(d) Free Attraction Ticket Instructions for use:
- Book the attraction ticket with the "Diamond+ Member" labels and apply this reward to enjoy free of charge ticket.

Cancellation Policy:
- If the attraction booking is canceled for free, the reward quota you used on this booking will be returned; otherwise, the reward quota you used on this booking will not be returned.

(e) No Refund Handling Fees for Trains: Instructions for Use:
- Members can choose whether to use a refund fee waiver at the time of booking. Once they choose to use it, refund fees will be waived for all train tickets on that booking.
- The refund fee waiver will be effective immediately after the train tickets are issued. If tickets are not refunded afterward, the waiver will not be returned. If tickets cannot be issued or the user cancels payment, the waiver will be returned.
- The refund fee waiver can only be used to waive refund fees incurred when refunding tickets. It does not cover booking fees or delivery fees incurred when refunding mainland China and Hong Kong train bookings.
- The refund fee waiver can currently be used in the app only. The refund fee waiver is only applicable to point-to-point train tickets for railways operating in the UK, Europe, South Korea, mainland China, and Hong Kong. It cannot be used for Taiwan point-to-point train tickets, Taiwan High Speed Rail ticket pick-up codes, Eurail passes, Italy train passes, UK Season and Flexi tickets and Railcards, bus tickets, and ferry tickets.

(g) One-stop VIP Service - One-stop VIP Service refers to the provision where issues related to flight and hotel bookings can be addressed by a single VIP customer support agent, eliminating the need for transfers and waiting time.

(h) Flight-Hotel Cancellation Guarantee Subject to the Flight+Hotel Cancellation Guarantee Terms
- Trip Coins
Upon registration of their Trip.com account, Members may commence accumulating Trip Coins from Eligible Bookings under the Program or through ways as specified on the Trip.com platform. Members may gain access to various vouchers, promotions, discounts, free gifts and other rewards through the use of Trip Coins on the Trip.com platform as Trip.com may announce from time to time. The redemption of Trip Coins may be subject to further terms and conditions specific to the activity.
- How to Earn Trip Coins:
- Trip Coins can be earned in multiple ways or as provided for by Trip.com from time to time. For more detailed information, please refer to the “How are Trip Coins earned from bookings?” in the FAQ on the Trip.com Rewards program membership page.

- Posting Trip Moments on Trip.com (website/app).
- Writing attraction reviews on Trip.com (website/mobile website/app).
- Other irregular promotions or activities on Trip.com (website/mobile website/app).

- Exclusions: The following booking types are not eligible for earning Trip Coins:
- offline flight bookings (e.g. bookings made via Trip.com customer support phone),
- direct bookings made on partner sites,
- bookings made on Ctrip.com,
- free bookings,
- bookings that are part of a promotion (as stated on the promotion page), and any other bookings deemed ineligible by Trip.com.
- If flight tickets are cancelled or changed through a non-Trip.com channel, Trip Coins will not be refunded for that flight. Any Trip Coins already issued for that flight will be deducted from your account.
- Conditions on Earning Trip Coins:
- Eligible travel must be completed. This means that you or other travellers on an itinerary using your Account must stay in the booked hotel or take the booked flight. Trip Coins accrued for cancelled flights or hotels will be deducted. For the avoidance of any doubt, when a booking contains multiple flights or hotels and only some are cancelled, Trip.com will deduct the Trip Coins according to our cancellation policy.
- Trip.com may at its sole and absolute discretion, increase or decrease the rate of Trip Coins to be awarded for each engagement activity or Eligible Booking.
- For applicable hotel and flight bookings, the amount of Trip Coins earned will be calculated according to the final payment amount for the booking (the final payment amount is the amount paid after discounts, promo codes, and Trip Coin discounts have been applied). The amount discounted using Trip Coins or paid with a gift card does not count as part of the final payment amount. No Trip Coins will be earned for the amount discounted using Trip Coins. Receipts and invoices will not be provided for the parts of the booking paid using gift cards or discounted through discounts, offers, promo codes, or Trip Coins.
- Trip Coins rewarded from eligible hotel reviews are based on the length of content & whether photos are included. The rules of accrual of Trip Coins from writing reviews are different from hotel/flight bookings and Trip.com has absolute right to change/adjust such rules at any time.
- For eligible hotel reviews, the amount of Trip Coins rewarded will be based on the length of text, whether photos are included & other criteria. Users are responsible for checking Trip.com from time to time to stay updated on earning policies. - How to Use Trip Coins
- The default currency Trip.com uses to calculate Trip Coins is USD. When paying in another currency, Trip.com's exchange rate will be used to show prices in different currencies on its site at the time of calculation. For the avoidance of doubt, this description is only for ease of reference and an indicative value of the discounts or rewards which you may redeem with Trip.com coins. Trip.com coins are not pegged to the currencies and the indicative value is based on Trip.com's sole discretion. You can view records of Trip Coins transactions on the Trip Coins history page.
- 100 Trip Coins may be redeemed for a discount of USD1or such other amount notified by Trip.com.
- You can use Trip Coins in the app to save instantly on bookings (you need to select "Save with Trip Coins" during the booking process). To find out whether you can use Trip Coins to save on your booking, please refer to the information on the booking page. Upper limits for how much can be discounted per booking will vary according to Trip.com promotions. Trip.com reserves the right to modify the value, restrictions, or usage methods of Trip Coins at any time and without notification. If Trip.com discovers any illegal or fraudulent situation, use, or intended use relating to Trip Coins, Trip.com reserves the right to remove user privileges or cancel user bookings at the sole discretion of Trip.com.
- When using Trip Coins to obtain a discount on a booking, Trip Coins which are due to expire first will be used first. Trip Coins which are due to expire on the same day will be used in the following order: (i) Trip Coins which have been earned by writing hotel reviews or other activities on Trip.com; followed by (ii)Trip Coins which have been earned by booking.
- If for some reason your booking was canceled or refunded, the Trip Coins that were exchanged or used will be completely or partially returned to your Trip.com account. The validity period of the returned Trip Coins will be equal to the initial validity period of the used Trip Coins.
- When will Trip Coins be added to my account?
- For bookings for different products, Trip Coins will be added to your account within varying timeframes. Sometimes it can take a little longer for us to receive confirmation from the hotel. In this case, it may take longer for you to receive your Trip Coins. For more detailed information, please refer to the “When will Trip Coins be added to my account?” in the FAQ on the Trip.com Rewards program membership page.
- Validity Period:
- Trip Coins earned by different bookings or other activities on Trip.com may have different expiration dates. Please refer to “How long is the validity period of Trip Coins after they are received?” in the FAQ on the Trip.com Rewards program membership page. For the avoidance of doubt, the validity of Trip Coins shall not be extended.
- Trip Coins have no cash or monetary value. Trip Coins are non-transferable, non-tradable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Trip.com may suspend or discontinue the issuance and redemption of Trip Coins at any time.
- Under some specific circumstances, including but not limited to the user refusing to pay a guarantee amount after failing to check into a booked hotel, or any other behavior which Trip.com deems to require fining the user or recovering payment from the user, Trip.com reserves the right to deduct Trip Coins from the user account to cover room rates or recover payment. Outstanding room rates, outstanding fees, and other outstanding amounts will be decided according to the policy shown on the booking page. Under some specific circumstances, and after confirming with the user, Trip.com will make supplementary payments or refunds in the form of Trip Coins. The refund or supplementary payment amount will be the final amount confirmed with the user.
- Miscellaneous
- You release Trip.com and its affiliates from all liability regarding the earning, redemption, and use of Trip Coins, including any rewards that, after receipt, may be lost, stolen, or destroyed.
- Trip Coins and rewards earned through the Program may be subject to tax liability. Trip.com members bear responsibility for all tax obligations (including information disclosure) relating to the receipt and use of Trip Coins and rewards.
- Personal Data: Personal data supplied by the Member will only be processed as set out in Trip.com's Privacy Statement.
- To the extent permitted by law, Trip.com will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or claims arising out of or relating to this Program, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
- These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore will have jurisdiction over any dispute. This will not deprive you of any mandatory rights of your home country.
- If the English version of these Terms conflicts with any other language version, the English version shall prevail.
- All interpretations of these Terms shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of Trip.com.
