1. The &quot;Guilin Art Museum&quot; is a cultural landmark building in Guilin. It was built in 1965 and was presided over by the Chinese architectural master Liang Sicheng (the designer of the national emblem and the &quot;Monument to the People&#39;s Heroes&quot;). The architectural style integrates the folk houses in northern Guangxi, Hui-style architecture, and Suzhou gardens. The architectural manuscripts are included in Chinese architectural textbooks for architectural teaching in universities such as Tsinghua University. The predecessor of the art museum was the &quot;Guilin Exhibition Hall&quot; and the &quot;Guilin Huaqiao Art Museum&quot;. There are currently 7 exhibition halls with exquisite paintings. It is a great place for petite photographers and painting enthusiasts. Admission is free.

2. The art museum is next to the 4A scenic spot &quot;Qixing Scenic Area&quot;. I just finished visiting the latter and went in to visit it. The art museum is currently holding the &quot;Talking about Guilin-Young Artists&#39; Works Exhibition&quot;, which will be held from January 18 to March 14, 2023. Painting exhibitions with different themes will be held in the museum at different time periods. The painting styles are diverse, including Western, Chinese, abstract, realistic, colorful, black and white, etc., which can satisfy the appetites of different painting enthusiasts. The seventh exhibition hall is a multi-functional hall and is not open.
3. In the center of the building is an open-air garden for rest. The sculptures in the garden are full of creativity, and the tall silver trees are very eye-catching and are a photo spot. The east side is close to the Xiaodongjiang River, a tributary of the Lijiang River, and many students are sketching. There are also supporting facilities such as the &quot;Grapefruit Tree House&quot; (bookstore) and the &quot;Osmanthus Tea Making Skills Museum&quot; (listed as an intangible cultural heritage project) in the museum.
4. Because of the tight time, the paintings could not be savored carefully. I finished the tour in less than an hour and rushed to the 4A scenic spot &quot;Chuanshan Scenic Area&quot; without stopping.

The Prince Jing&#39;s Mansion is beautiful, a tranquil retreat amidst the bustle of the city. The prince clearly knew how to choose a prime feng shui location. Formerly the site of Guangxi Normal University, it boasts both history and stunning scenery. The tour guide service was exceptional, offering free, professional explanations. Guide Mo, who is said to be a teacher, was very professional, patient, and thorough, even trying to explain as much as he could, knowing we were pressed for time. When we left to receive our blessing rubbings, Guide Wei patiently led us to the north gate. I&#39;ll definitely be back for a second visit during winter break.

Children&#39;s tickets can be purchased and used at any time. The price is the same as at the entrance of the scenic area. It depends on your own habits! This park in downtown Guilin is very good and you can take your children to see it.

The ticket price was cheap, only 37.5 for a couple, but the scenery was stunning. It was overcast that morning, and the wind was strong, so it wasn&#39;t hot at all.

This mountain has a famous wind tunnel, which truly blows a cool 26-degree breeze like air conditioning. The staff said that even when the temperature outside is still, the wind is still blowing through this tunnel&mdash;it&#39;s magical.

Climbing to the top is effortless, and you can see the entire river view and the mountains of varying heights and distances. Guilin&#39;s mountains are truly unique, with their staggered and undulating shapes. Their random shapes, however, create a beautiful scene when connected together.

There&#39;s a stone tablet at the top with the inscription: &quot;Climb Diecai Mountain and live to be 130!&quot; What a beautiful auspicious meaning.

We spent quite a while at the top, then descended to climb the nearby Crane Mountain. This mountain is truly covered in large white birds&mdash;I&#39;m not sure if they are cranes. Why do these birds only perch on this one of so many other mountains? I don&#39;t know the reason.

​There is another huge hole halfway up the mountain. I found that almost all the mountains in Guilin have holes, and they are all transparent holes. No matter which mountain I see on the road, there will be a hole in it. It is magical.

The scenery is great, the facilities are complete, you can take a leisurely walk on the stone steps to climb the mountain, or you can challenge yourself to climb the West Peak with your hands and feet. The scenery on the top of the mountain is beautiful, especially at sunset. It is recommended to leave enough time for 3 hours to climb the mountain slowly. It&#39;s just that the ticket price is not very friendly for outsiders. Although it is not expensive, it is free for locals.
