We went in mid-August and it was so crowded that we had to queue up to buy DPA tickets. Popular shows and rides sold out shortly after entering the park. If I were to go again, I wouldn&#39;t recommend going during the summer. An unexpected bonus was the popcorn on the bridge after entering the park. It was incredibly delicious, with a hint of seafood and shrimp, which was a pleasant surprise.

Environment: The park is quite small. I&#39;ve been to one in California before, and Shanghai is currently about half the size of California. The trees haven&#39;t grown yet, and the lack of shade makes the garden seem even smaller. The view out to the vegetable patch is quite impressive, giving you a waking-from-a-dream feeling and a rather distracting experience.
Fun: Not crowded, so there&#39;s hardly any waiting in line. There aren&#39;t many rides suitable for adults, but my seven-year-old nephew really enjoyed them. The park closes at 7 p.m., which I initially thought was too early, but I ended up trying almost everything and leaving by 5 p.m. It was very hot, but the sky was blue, making for some stunning photos.
Service: The staff were very professional and, in my opinion, more welcoming than at another theme park in Shanghai, probably because it was less crowded.
Value for money: For adults who care about rides, it&#39;s pretty average. Even the largest roller coaster made me feel like I shouldn&#39;t yell. However, the overall design is quite interesting, and Lego fans will probably enjoy it. The popcorn buckets are really nice, 198 each, and they have large figurines.
Food: 50% off! The burgers were the same price as McDonald&#39;s, and it was my first time eating and drinking in the park. The drinks and ice cream were both good, and the 50% discount was really worth it.

1️⃣ Gu Mu You Long: This is an all-wooden roller coaster. It&#39;s the longest of the bunch. There&#39;s no shoulder pressure, so only your lower body is supported. It&#39;s very bumpy, and you have to hold onto the railings. Coming down feels like your bones are falling apart.
2️⃣ Jue Ding Xiong Feng: This is a vertically descending roller coaster. The feeling of weightlessness is intense. At the very beginning, there are a few pauses at the top, which feels like an accident and is quite scary. For first-timers, I recommend sitting in the middle. There&#39;s some shoulder pressure, but the vertical descent still feels like you&#39;re about to leave your seat. 3️⃣ Blue Moon Coaster: It&#39;s incredibly fast, but there&#39;s no shoulder pressure. Warm up thoroughly. You might feel like your head is about to be thrown out, so be careful about straining your neck. The host&#39;s neck started hurting the next day.
4️⃣ Ocean Adventure: There&#39;s some shoulder pressure, but the ride isn&#39;t too high, so you feel like you&#39;re hanging from it. It feels safer, and the ride is more relaxed than the previous roller coasters. The host took it three times when it was less crowded. 5️⃣ Mine Adventure: A mine-themed roller coaster. There&#39;s a bit of centrifugal force at the beginning, and it gets a bit shaky later on, so be sure to hold on tight.
6️⃣ Canyon Rafting: Raincoats are sold at the entrance for 15 yuan each, but storing your bag can be a bit of a hassle. It was average, but no one sprayed you with water guns along the way, so you barely got wet. However, at the end, water flowed under a bridge, and many people got soaked without noticing. I recommend going straight for the Whitewater Rafting. The host tried it just to get wet.
7️⃣ Whitewater Rafting: More fun than the canyon rafting, but it seems like everyone gets soaked. Water pools on the seats, so be careful where you step. The next time you flush, you won&#39;t be able to stop the water. I recommend leaving it for the end; there&#39;s a rice dryer at the exit.
8️⃣ Crazy Elf: It looks colorful from the outside, like a kid&#39;s playground, but it&#39;s quite thrilling. It spins suddenly around corners, so it&#39;s not recommended for people with motion sickness. 9️⃣ Swinging Umbrella: This is a flying chair. Play some music, start spinning, then tilt until you reach the highest point. The speed is moderate and suitable for beginners.
🔟 Heroes of Heaven and Earth: This is a bungee jumping machine. This ride is very short. You only reach the highest point once at the beginning, then you&#39;re back down. The initial ascent is quite scary, but it&#39;s not as bad as before. Recommended.
1️⃣1️⃣ Crossing 30 Degrees North: This ride has a special effects movie and a flying chair. The host feels that the other ride, the Ocean Star 6D Roller Coaster, is more fun.
1️⃣2️⃣ Another Dimension: This is the haunted house and bumper cars, which the host almost finished after playing. Be forewarned, there are no NPCs in the haunted house, but there seem to be rumors online that there will be some around Halloween.

Oriental Pearl Tower, my child has wanted to come here for a long time. The child is very excited and very happy. We came here during the summer vacation and came in the afternoon. We queued for an hour to get on the tower. You can buy two balls. There is nothing much on the three balls. Don&#39;t rush to come down in the evening, otherwise you will have to queue up. We walked down after watching the sunset. There was basically no queue. Overall it is good.

Shanghai Playa Maya Water Park

Many rides share two queues, making it easy to mistakenly take photos, but thankfully, they&#39;re all quite similar. There are some areas within the park where phones are prohibited, so I recommend providing temporary electronic lockers to avoid the awkwardness of having to return to the entrance or swapping people to retrieve items. The waves at the Water Beach weren&#39;t as fun as I&#39;d imagined. The force was average, and I drifted in place, unable to reach shore. I even felt nauseous from the waves. The Lazy River, on the other hand, was quite relaxing, just drifting with the waves.
