My first time at Rajamangala National Stadium was for TheDreamShow3inBangkok. I didn&#39;t expect it to be this massive. However, the journey back was quite difficult because of heavy traffic. Taxis hiked up prices, and some motorcycle taxi drivers were rude and disrespectful. I really wish the BTS or MRT extended further to reach this area.

There were so many tourists. It was the most visited attraction from Chiang Mai to Bangkok during the May Day holiday. It was very hot and I was sweating profusely after a while, so I just walked around and left. The hall where the Emerald Buddha is enshrined has fans, and everyone hid inside to rest, so there was hardly any space. The architectural carvings are very exquisite, and the buildings outside the palace are also very beautiful and photogenic. There is a cafe at the exit.

Chao Phraya River: The liquid dividing line between divinity and the secular world 

This turbid river has never really belonged to tourists. When the long-tail boat engine cuts through the water, the golden roof of the Grand Palace and the tin houses of the slums are broken together in the ripples, and you will understand the most authentic reflection of Bangkok.
