When critics first saw Georges Seurat’s new style of painting, they thought it might bring about the death of painting itself. But what was it about artists like Paul Signac, Anna Boch, Jan Toorop and Henri-Edmond Cross, that ruffled so many feathers? Neo-Impressionists painted in small dots of pure colour. Viewed from a distance, the colours blend to create nuanced tones and an illusion of light. Now known as pointillism, this technique simplified form and played with colour in an entirely new way, verging on the edge of abstraction. Alongside this exciting approach to colour, their style went hand-in-hand with radical political ideas. They captured late 19th-century European society through luminous landscapes, portraits and interior scenes, while also depicting the struggles faced by the working class, in reaction against the industrial age. Most of the paintings we’re exhibiting were collected by Helene Kröller-Müller, one of the first great women art patrons of the 20th century. She assembled the most comprehensive ensemble of Neo-Impressionist paintings in the world. Collected with the aim of being publicly accessible, these works now form part of the Kröller-Müller Museum in the Netherlands, which Helene Kröller-Muller founded. a great art gallery right by Trafalgar Square. gorgeous building with a variety of art works to enjoy including 3 Van Gogh paintings. not huge if you aren&rsquo;t doing the paid exhibits also but a nice way to spend an hour or so. cloak room available for &pound;2 per item but you can leave your bag there for as many hours as needed, as long as you collect by closing time. cafe and toilets available (although we didn&rsquo;t use as the queues were huge!). staff were very friendly and nice.

Highly recommend the British Museum for at least one day tour. We arranged a tour of the British Museum on the last day of the 10-day UK tour. Found that we arranged three hours too little. Fortunately, we have participated in the teacher&#39;s explanation group, through the teacher&#39;s wonderful explanation, we know a lot of the history and origin of the previously blurred cultural relics. Let us have a vivid human history lesson at the British Museum. Seeing the long-awaited kiln, Tang Sancai, saw the exquisite memory of Chinese historical relics. Teacher Bilan also uploaded a few photos of the kiln after the team ended, so I kept a precious memory and beautiful photo in regret.

After watching the Buckingham Palace changing ceremony, we arrived at Westminster Abbey. There were a lot of people in the queue, about an hour and a half before entering the church. There is a interpreter at the door, you can choose Chinese. Follow the team and the interpreter is also explained. My favorite is the Matisse-style painting window. The staff in the church is very high quality and the temperament is very good, which is awe-inspiring.

This time I brushed it twice. This time I took my family to sit together. It felt really good overlooking half of London and the Thames. The only fly in the ointment was that the weather was not good enough, and the scenery was too far from sunny and cloudy.

The Queen&#39;s favorite palace is very luxurious, but it is not allowed to take pictures. It can only be taken outside. When entering, a photo was taken and was stopped by the staff. Knowing the life of the royal family, Windsor Castle is generally very quiet.
