During the third week of November,I spent 2 delightful days assiduously studying its splendid collections of Netherlandish,Flemish,and Belgian Paintings.Their collection of paintings by Peter Paul Rubens,James Ensor,and Rik Wouters is encylopedic.Others with marvelous paintings on display included Rogier Vander Weyden,Simone Martini,Jean Fouquet,Jan Van Eyck,Hans Memling,Jacob Jordaens,David Teniers the Younger,Hendrick Van  Vliet,Titian,Artemesia Gentileschi,,Gustave Courbet,Emile Claus,Constantin Meunier,Jean Brusselmans,Paul Delvaiux,and Rene Magritte.Furthermore,I relished the creative atmosphere of this art museum and the fact there was labelling of the works of Art and a plethora of information about their outstanding works of Art.in English.The Royal Museum of Art is clearly a feather in Antwerp&#39;s cap.
