Buying a round-trip ferry ticket on Ctrip is 15 yuan more expensive than buying it on-site or on the Wanshan Port Public Platform (Figure 8). Dong&#39;ao Island is a relatively small island for tourism. Even during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, there are not many people, and seafood is not expensive. There is a seafood street next to the pier, and you can buy it yourself and have it processed at the restaurant opposite. It is recommended to go to the Dong&#39;ao Island Seafood Food Stall (run by locals, the cooking is good). Holiday accommodation is 2-3 times more expensive than usual. The island is not large, and you can take a tram around the island (60 yuan for Line 1, 30 yuan for Line 2, and there are no bicycles for rent on the island). There are no cars on the island, and the air is fresh and natural. Nansha Bay Beach is the only beach on the island where you can go in the water and have a few friends gather together to chat and drink.

I went there from Shenzhen, the boat ticket was 180, and the journey took 1 hour. It is a quiet island with a beautiful sea view and a small beach. You can eat seafood, walk around the island, fish, dive, and climb mountains. It is definitely worth a visit. You should book a hotel in advance before going there, as it is very expensive on site. Bring a power bank and charging cable, as charging may not be very convenient. It is recommended to stay there for more than two days.

The New Yuanming Garden is based on the original scenery of the Old Summer Palace in Beijing before it was burned down. 18 of the 40 scenic spots were taken and built at a 1:1 ratio. It is divided into three parts: royal building complex, Jiangnan building complex, and Western building complex. You can feel the grandeur of the royal garden and it is worth a visit.
