From the perspective of cultural relics and scenery, the Keyan Scenic Area is still worth a visit, but the scenery of Jianhu Lake is average, and there is nothing to play. You have to go to the innermost part of the pleasure boat, and the signs are not very obvious. I asked the staff and some of them were not clear. It was completely for the purpose of bundling. It is recommended to just visit Keyan. There is no need to enter Jianhu Lake, and there is no need to walk a long way to take a boat.

In the Spring and Autumn Period, Gou Jian, King of Yue, planted orchids here. In the Han Dynasty, a posthouse was built, hence the name Lanting.
In the ninth year of Yonghe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Wang Xizhi invited 41 literati to hold a grand event of Qushui Liushang here and wrote &quot;Lanting Collection Preface&quot;, which made Lanting famous.
Lanting - compact layout, with Qushui Liushang as the center and buildings surrounding it, is a typical Jiangnan garden style.
