Through an exceptional collection of nearly 230 works, "L'art est dans la rue" explores the spectacular rise of the illustrated poster in Paris during the second half of the 19th century. Organized in partnership with the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the exhibition is the first of its kind on this scale. In fact, no major event in Paris has ever been devoted to this social phenomenon, bringing together so many outstanding works by the "Masters of the Poster". Bonnard, Chéret, Grasset, Mucha, Steinlen, Toulouse-Lautrec... Conceived as an immersion into the visual universe of the 19th century city, the exhibition traces the golden age of the artistic poster, analyzing the social and cultural changes that favored its development, in dialogue with a unique collection of posters, paintings, photographs, costumes, sculptures and decorative objects that evoke the exuberant world of the street at the turn of the century.

It&#39;s so huge; one day is simply not enough...

Like most other attractions in Paris, ticket checks at Versailles Palace aren&#39;t strict (except for Sainte-Chapelle). Basically, anyone with a ticket can enter, even though the tickets indicate time slots, the staff rarely check them. So, we entered at 11:30 AM with tickets for 1:30 PM and were out by 1:30 PM. I must say, the luxury of Versailles Palace is irreplaceable; every time I visit, I feel its grandeur and true royal magnificence. Definitely worth visiting again.

A Family Trip for Four: A Self-Guided Visit to the Mus&eacute;e d&#39;Orsay - Perfect for the Whole Family

This morning, my mom, uncle and aunt, and my 15-year-old son visited the Mus&eacute;e d&#39;Orsay. We only bought tickets and had a very comfortable experience.

✨ Highlights for the whole family:

&middot; Entry at 9:30 am meant almost no queues.

&middot; My son was very interested in the museum&#39;s structure, which was converted from a train station.

&middot; The Impressionist paintings are brightly colored, making them enjoyable even for older family members.

&middot; The view from the clock tower window on the fifth floor is perfect for family photos.

🚶&zwj;♂️ Our itinerary:

1. Go straight to the fifth floor to see the Impressionist masterpieces.

2. Rest by the clock tower window (there are benches).

3. Explore the sculpture section below.

👍 Advantages of a self-guided tour: We could explore at our own pace, and my son could linger at any painting without rushing. We rented four audio guides (the Chinese explanations were quite detailed).

Summary: If you&#39;re traveling as a family and don&#39;t want to rush, buying a basic ticket and visiting the Mus&eacute;e d&#39;Orsay independently is a good option. The architecture and paintings were beautiful. The family took their time to stroll around and enjoy the sights. It was a very pleasant morning.
