From large-scale figures of gods and goddesses to portraits of emperors and magnificent funerary monuments, this exhibition brings to North America, for the first time, a selection of 58 rarely seen ancient Roman sculptures from Italy’s storied Torlonia Collection.Nearly half of these sculptures, which range in date from the 5th century BCE to the early 4th century CE, have not been publicly displayed in more than 70 years and have been newly cleaned, conserved, and studied specifically for this exhibition, making for a spectacular opportunity to experience their first public presentation in decades. The Torlonia Collection is not only the largest private collection of Roman marble sculptures in Italy, but it is also arguably the most important of such private collections in the world. Comprising 622 works and a wide range of sculptural types and subjects, its holdings rival those of major institutions in Europe, including the Capitoline and Vatican Museums.

It&#39;s worth visiting, but the price is a bit high, so it doesn&#39;t feel like great value for money. There&#39;s a slanted window inside that offers a downward view of the city, but that costs extra. Overall, it doesn&#39;t feel like good value for money.

The John Hancock Center is a place you can visit by appointment. Group tours in Chicago generally do not include activities in this place, but you can stop by here when you are traveling on your own to get to know some of the characteristics of American architecture and culture.

Grant Park is also a good place to visit for free. The most common people you see are locals doing outdoor sports. Running is very popular and can be seen at different times of the day. There are also some people walking their dogs.

Chicago&#39;s most worthwhile attractions&mdash;do your homework and you can spend a lot of time exploring. [The following appears unrelated and likely a separate topic:] Van Gogh, Seurat, Monet, Renoir, Gauguin, and some bronzes from the China Pavilion. This close encounter with art and history is incredibly satisfying and enriching.
