"Da Qinqiang" is one of the few performances in Shaanxi that brings intangible cultural heritage performances to a large theater. A series of intangible cultural heritage such as Qinqiang, Huayin Laoqiang, shadow play, Wanwanqiang, rod puppets, and opera techniques are connected together. Scene 1:
Wanwanqiang is a traditional Chinese opera, mainly popular in Shaanxi Province. It originated from the singing form of folk artists in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and gradually developed into a unique local opera form. Wanwanqiang is usually performed by one person alone, accompanied by percussion instruments and movements, and has a unique phonology and rhythm.
Act II:
The shadow play "Crane and Turtle" is a traditional Chinese opera performance form, which uses transparent shadow puppets projected onto a screen under light to tell stories, convey values ​​and show artistic expression through manipulation of shadow puppets. Shadow puppetry was first born in the Western Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 2,000 years.
Act III:
The puppet show "Zhong Kui Explores the Road" is a traditional puppet performance form that originated from Chinese folk art. It usually consists of a wooden head and a handle. The actor controls the puppet's movements and expressions by holding the handle of the stick puppet to perform.
Act 4:
Huayin Laoqiang is one of the traditional operas in Huayin, Shaanxi Province, also known as "Huayin Tune" or "Shaanbei Laoqiang". It originated in the Qing Dynasty and has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Huayin Laoqiang is famous for its unique singing, performance form and opera style, and is known as the "national essence" of northern Shaanxi.
Act V:
《Opera Skills Show》 Shaanxi Peking Opera is one of the local operas in Shaanxi Province, also known as "Qinqiang" or "Shaanxi Qinqiang". It was developed on the basis of Peking Opera, combining multiple elements such as Han singing, Qinqiang and Peking Opera to form a unique style. Shaanxi Peking Opera is famous for its unique singing, performance form and opera style, and is hailed as a treasure in Chinese opera art.
Act VI:
Piaocai is a traditional folk art performance form that originated in Shaanxi Province. The whole venue is full of seats and full of applause! Light singing and mandating, scorpion silk bamboo, let me also experience the singing and dancing of an ancient royal noble. The Qin doll has shadow play, puppet play, Qin accent, opera, and a host full of local characteristics. The whole scene is full of old artists of national-level actors, although the audience is not large, but still work hard to perform. Compared with the famous performance, I prefer such a pure national art performance, a bit like the difference between traffic stars and old artists, no technology, all ruthless! There are many intangible performances I have seen for the first time, I really feel that the national is the best! Unfortunately, too many people have not appreciated such a high level of performance. I sincerely hope that in the future, our intangible stage can be full of seats, and the venue is full.
