We couldn&#39;t get tickets to the big Shaanxi History Museum so we decided to visit this. Ticket by specific time slot is free to reserve via Trip.com. At the museum, need to exchange to paper tickets (by showing ID, entered during booking).&nbsp;The Museum is in a big park with Small Wild Goose Pagoda and several other scenic buildings (temples, exhibition halls). It&#39;s a lovely park to walk around in. There&#39;s a place to write wishes and ring a bell for anyone interested, We spent time walking around the park before going into the museum. It&#39;s a good and smallish museum, with more artifacts from the around the regions. Captions are in Chinese and English. There are some extra exhibition (3D) which we didn&#39;t go to.The park is a short walk from a few metro stations ; Nanshaomen (near the North Gate) and Tiyuchang (close to the Stadium).&nbsp;If one cannot get tickets to the Shaanxi Museum, this is good enough in my opinion.

I trusted Ctrip and chose the guided tour package, which was only a dozen yuan more expensive than the entrance ticket. It included a professional tour guide&#39;s excellent commentary for two hours, followed by a tea break. While it did introduce some shopping options, these were from reputable merchants, and I was free to choose what I wanted to buy; there was no pressure or sales tactics.

Actually, there are many entrances to the city wall; just find the nearest one and you can get on. By bicycle, you need to go some distance away from Yongning Gate. The scenery inside and outside the wall is so-so. Since you&#39;re already here, you definitely have to climb the city wall.

The hotel was nice, clean, and conveniently located inside the Xi&#39;an city wall, right in the city center, very close to attractions like the Bell Tower. It offered excellent value for money. I stayed at this hotel again when I visited Xi&#39;an.

The daytime and nighttime views are both fantastic! 👍🏻 The park offers a variety of activities and is definitely worth a visit. We strolled around before dark and stayed until nightfall &ndash; the nighttime views were absolutely amazing! Next time, we&#39;ll definitely go with friends in a different season! ✌🏻
