The 1 Day MagicQ Basic Training Course, scheduled for January 16th, 2024, is an essential training program that covers the use of all MagicQ products, including our range of PC Wings and MagicQ consoles. This comprehensive course is suitable for individuals of all skill levels, but is particularly beneficial for those who are just starting out with MagicQ. Even experienced users can benefit from picking up new tips and tricks.

The training will take place at the University of South Wales - Atrium Campus in Cardiff. The address is 86-88 Adam St, Cardiff, CF24 2FN. The course will run from 10:00 to 16:00. The cost of the course is £50. It includes a MagicQ Basic DMX dongle, ChamSys USB key, training guide, and lunch. Please notify us of any dietary requirements for lunch.

To participate in the training, you need to be aged 16 years or over. If you are under 16, please contact us and an adult (18 years or older) must attend the training with you.

Some basic lighting knowledge, such as understanding DMX and universes, is required to better comprehend how the ChamSys MagicQ consoles output to fixtures. If you have any doubts or questions regarding your knowledge level, feel free to reach out to us for assistance.

For cancellations, we require up to 2 working days' notice to provide a refund. Cancellations made with less than 2 working days' notice will not be eligible for a refund.

In the event that there are very low numbers, we reserve the right to cancel the training. However, we will provide a minimum of 7 days' notice in such cases.

If you book both the basic and intermediate training courses for two consecutive days, you will receive a MagicDMX FULL dongle instead of the MagicDMX Basic (worth £75!).

An amazing castle and visiting the grounds was a treat. Full of history and going through the surroundings, it wasn&#39;t repetitive and not boring at all. I absolutely loved it and it&#39;s was very interesting. I love the Arab Room and the war shelters.
Reasonable priced tickets compared to the Royal castle prices.
I highly recommend this visit for all ages.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
I love Cardiff. It&#39;s so refreshing compared to London.

Pleasant enough way to spend a couple of hours. Went primarily to see the paintings but (and of course this is entirely a matter of personal taste) there wasnt a lot to rock my boat and not a lot of range. Some of the pottery was quite interesting but could have been better displayed. The natural history section on the ground floor was rather more interesting than expected- not too &quot;dry&quot;

Cardiff Bay is very easy to go.  It is very closed to Cardiff Central Station.  You can take the bus or walk 30 mins from central station.  It is free to visit, of course, and the scenary there is fantastic.  You can spend a few hours there, no doubt.  Take lots of pictures there.  There are a lot of shops and restaurant and coffee shop there.  So once you are tired, you can grab a coffee there, by sitting next to the seashore, enjoying the coffee and the sea at the same time.  Different kinds of pubs and restaurant there, from high class to family restaurant.  There are also a few historical buildings there, and there is a modern exhibition center there.  The design of its outlook is so high tech, you definitely will fall in love with it.
