Phil Barone and The Cruisers are teaming up once again for a stellar collaboration and Jim Morrison Tribute Concert with a special Bruce Springsteen Tribute! This year's concert will give all proceeds to the local non-profit The Dyslexia Education Center. If you haven't been to one of our Jim Morrison Tribute Concerts then NOW is the time, baby! The concert will be on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at the historic Maumee Indoor Theatre (601 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio). Doors to the event will open at 6 pm. Drink tickets will be available for purchase and use at the bar. The show will begin at 7 pm with the opening act, Mikey “Blue” Barone playing the harmonica, guitar, and vocals. Then Phil Barone and The Cruisers will take the stage at 8 pm with a special Bruce Springsteen Tribute followed by the Jim Morrison Tribute. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the local non-profit The Dyslexia Education Training Center (formerly the 32° Masonic Learning Center for Children), which provides help for students from Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. The center is located at Coy Elementary School in Oregon, Ohio (formerly Union School in Maumee), where students receive individual instruction to learn the skills necessary to overcome their condition. The success rate is close to 100%. This unique tribute features several amazingly talented local musicians, including Phil Barone on lead vocals as Jim Morrison, Pat McDonagh on lead guitar, Mike Perzynski​ ​on​ ​bass, Nate Woodward on the keyboard, Evan Spurlock on drums, and an accomplished horn section led by John Grafing on the Trumpet, Al Ashby on the tenor sax, and Bob Huff on the trombone. Each princess in attendance would love to meet you! Time Slots| 10:00AM, Noon, 2:30PM Event Details: Royal Entrance, Princess Vocal Performance, Princess Dance Performance, Meet&Greet, Crafts, Games, Portraits, Princess Parade, Pixie Wishes, Sing-A-Long, Autographs, and Coronation How to Prepare? Bring your camera and a smile! Charge your phone beforehand. We recommend your little one gets a good night's sleep/nap the day of the event. We also suggest eating something filling before arriving, this way you will be set for all the fun ahead! What to Wear? Little ones are encouraged to wear their favorite princess dress or costume. Please let them wear something they feel comfortable and happy in! Adults should think "Sunday's Best" when getting dressed! We see everything from dresses to nice jeans. The Fairytale Ball is FULL of princess interactions- We Princess Promise your little one will have the opportunity to meet each and every Pretty Princess in attendance. To ensure everyone gets all the photos and hugs they need, the final 20 minutes of the ball are dedicated to "Love&Goodbyes" so no one feels like they need to rush out the door! Our event is created to please each and every guest, and we know you'll go home with a smile on your face and love in your heart! Tips for Success: Once in a while, in all of the excitement, we need a parental figure to step in and help with a child. If you see that one of the guests is interfering with a game or preventing things from running smoothly, we ask that the parent or any other adult figure take care of the matter.
