We're back for our fourth year of the Mother's Day Morning Paddle (formerly the Sunrise Paddle) Join us for this 90-minute dragon boat outing. This excursion is suitable for all levels. We'll take plenty of breaks for water, snacks, and pictures. You'll also have the option of switching sides halfway through. No experience is required. We provide all the equipment (life jackets and paddles). We'll provide you with a positive space, an experienced coach/steersperson. Paddling can be leisurely or competitive...for these sessions we'll keep it light and fun, with lots of opportunity to learn new skills. These sessions are great for anyone who likes the water, and wants to try something new! No experience is required, and we provide all the equipment (life jackets and paddles). Our coaches will teach you how to safely get in the boat, the proper dragon boat technique, and boat commands. We'll spend the first 15 minutes getting equipment and loading the boat, followed by 45 minutes on the water. There will be plenty of time to take breaks for water, to snap pics of our beautiful lake, and to learn new skills and technique.
