As a renowned artist, author, and curator, Dr. Willis serves as University Professor and chair of the Department of Photography and Imaging at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. With a myriad of accolades to her name, including the prestigious MacArthur Fellowship, Dr. Willis will delve into pivotal moments from her illustrious career, such as her role as co-founder of the Black Portraitures conference and her recent collaboration with Getty Images to amplify Black history and empower storytellers.
