Welcome aboard EI_MOB, a non-competitive race driven by a passion for a more sustainable and inclusive world. EI_MOB is a non-competitive sports event aimed at promoting a culture of inclusion and sustainability through the use of assistive technologies for adapted electric mobility and small zero-emission electric mobility. The race is open to individuals of all ages using electric mobility devices such as electric wheelchairs, bikes, four-wheel electric scooters, electric scooters, electric wheelchair attachments, pedal-assisted trikes, and more. Taking place in Foligno on May 4, 2024, starting at 10:00 am, the race offers a full 9 km route and a shorter 4 km option. Starting from Plateatico, crossing Foligno, and concluding at Piazza San Domenico, where the finish line, awards ceremony, and a gathering with lunch and a concert will be held. Organized by the Ausili Center of the Rehabilitation Department of USL Umbria 2 and FELCOS Umbria in collaboration with the Folignate Cycling Union, participation in the race is both free and mandatory. Participants can use their own electric mobility device, specified during registration for a free participation ticket. Alternatively, those without a device can rent an electric bike from the organization for €10, with bike collection and return on the race day. Registration is open until 4 days before the event, and participants will receive their race shirt and number at the start.
