Running
Experience the Run Against Breast Cancer SACRAMENTO in a small, private group with fellow runners and dedicated pacers. This event offers a beautiful route for participants to come together and take a stand against cancer. By joining the 5K, 10K, or 21K Half Marathon, you not only challenge yourself but also contribute to a worthy cause. A portion of the run proceeds, as well as all fundraising efforts, will be donated to the American Cancer Society, the oldest and largest cancer organization in the United States. Their mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Fundraising is optional, but highly encouraged. You have the opportunity to create your own profile during registration or on our dedicated page.
The Run Against Breast Cancer SACRAMENTO is designed to provide a limited and intimate experience. With just 15 participants per wave, health, safety, and personalized encouragement are prioritized. This event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages (under 18 with a guardian), making it a family-friendly occasion. The course takes you through scenic surroundings, ensuring a visually pleasing journey. No additional equipment or setup is required, allowing you to focus solely on the run.
When you sign up, you not only register for a run but also become part of a journey towards better health. Your participation comes with a swag bag that will be conveniently delivered to your doorstep. Inside, you'll find a premium running shirt and the choice between medals or a custom mug. Additionally, you gain access to a virtual community of runners from around the world. This community offers ongoing support, inspiration, giveaways, and challenges to keep you motivated.
Wave times are organized to accommodate different preferences, and sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis. If the waves are already full, you can still participate by signing up for the virtual run option and joining the waiting list for future events. In the event that there are fewer than seven runners registered, the run may be postponed until the minimum number is reached. There is no fee for transfer in case of a postponed run. Alternatively, a virtual option allows you to complete a practice run on one of our designated courses.
