Het Panamarenkohuis | Panamarenkohuis
Arts
Explore the fascinating world of Panamarenko and pay a visit to his former residence and workspace. Following a recent renovation period, the remarkable contents and architecture of this historic property on Biekorfstraat are now open to the public. Panamarenko's artistic journey, which began in the 1960s, has gained international recognition. However, what is less known is that the majority of his oeuvre was created in his combined studio and home. After his departure from the city in 2002, he generously donated the property to the M HKA. Subsequently, the dismantling and restoration of the building commenced. Today, the redesigned premises bear witness to an enchanting artistic adventure that lives on in the M HKA's collection. Due to the delicate nature of this hidden piece of art history, each guided tour is limited to a maximum of 8 individuals. Immerse yourself in the world of Panamarenko at Het Panamarenkohuis in Antwerp's Biekorfstraat.
