Are you a quieter, more gentle woman in business who finds traditional networking loud and overwhelming? If you answered YES to that question then welcome to Enrichment Networking - a brave space where we quieter women solopreneurs can connect, share, and grow together. If you find traditional networking overwhelming or intimidating, our monthly meetings are created specifically for you. There's a difference between networking and connecting... networking is about knowing more people... connecting is about knowing people more. Enrichment Networking is a supportive environment where you can talk honestly about the challenges you face in your business and get the support you need to overcome them. Join us and connect with women who understand the unique challenges of running a business solo. As one of our guests recently put it… Enrichment Networking is “lovely, relaxed, and informal, and always lots of food for thought.” Our theme for June is: Visibility... your way . What to expect: Supportive Environment : A calm space where you can share your challenges and successes without the pressure of traditional networking. Expert Guidance : Denise (a coach specialising in helping you to melt your stress and anxiety) and Sami (a business coach specialising in helping you to stand out from the crowd), will lead the session, providing insights and guidance. Collaborative Problem Solving : Bring your business challenges, and let the group’s collective wisdom help you find solutions. Relationship Building : Forge strong connections and relationships with other women in the group. As you get to know each other, you’ll find opportunities to refer business to one another, helping each other grow and succeed. Whether you're just starting out or have been running your business for years, you'll leave feeling supported, enriched, and connected. This IS the right group for you if: You’re looking for a relaxed way to network and share your business You’re looking for a supportive and positive group You’re looking to meet other business women experiencing similar issues to you You’re looking for small groups where you can get to know others and build connections (we only ever have 10 tickets on sale for any meeting) You’re looking for a supportive environment where all judgements have been left at the door in favour of making genuine connections during genuine conversations You’re looking for help and knowledge relevant to your business over generalised information from guest speakers, that you may never put into practice This is not business networking as you know it, and this is NOT the right group for you if: You’re expecting to have to “work the room” and chat to everyone in the place You’re expecting a large group of people You’re expecting to sell, sell, sell yourself and your products or services You’re expecting to have business cards foisted upon you when you don’t even know the person handing it to you Here's an overview of how the meeting will run: Arrival and refreshments Welcome and introduction to Enrichment Networking Everybody gets time to share their business - this is not timed, and you can say as little or as much as you want to - some guests might say a couple of sentences, and others might talk for five minutes or more. All is welcome. As we go around the table, learning about each person’s business, there is opportunity to ask questions as we go. After introductions there is a mini workshop based on the theme and topic of the month Who should attend: This event is ideal for women solopreneurs who work from home and prefer a networking environment that is supportive, intimate, and pressure-free. If you’re looking for a space where you can be honest, receive support, and build genuine connections, Enrichment Networking is for you. Registration : Spaces are limited to maintain a calm and supportive atmosphere, so please register early. Tickets are £15 and include refreshments. Join us at Enrichment Networking on 13th June, and step into a space where you can be yourself, build meaningful connections, and grow your business. Meet your hosts: We are Denise Oliver and Sami Blackford , co-creators of Enrichment Networking… and we’re both introverts. As small business owners, we recognise that networking is essential for spreading the word about what we do, and for gaining support from others when we need it… and yet we’ve rarely found that networking works for us or supports our gentler way of interacting with others. We knew we couldn’t be alone in feeling this way, so we created our own group that would do just that. Sami has been running creative businesses since she was nine years old and now has three decades’ of business experience under her belt. She is a business coach specialising in helping introverted women ditch the pressures of social media and market their business in a gentler (and, in her opinion, more effective) way. Denise has been in the world of health since she first put on her nurse’s uniform, way back when matron walked the corridors. Unfortunately when seriously ill the NHS couldn’t help her so she then turned to the world of holistic therapies and found herself and her wellbeing there. She is now a resilience coach helping women love themselves and their life by helping them to melt their stress and anxiety as they discover and develop their resilience and adaptability. Where to find us We will gather upstairs at Knoops, Northgate Street, Chester, CH1 2HQ Please come and find us upstairs. Refreshments will be available at the meeting and are included in the cost of your ticket. Information Source: The Enrichment Collective | eventbrite

You are welcome to bring rugs/seating. Please take your waste home or use the bins provided. Refunds • This is a charity event. Refunds will not be unless the event has to be cancelled. In the event of a cancellation, refunds will be paid via the same method you used to buy the tickets within the 10 days following the date of the event. While we appreciate it is disappointing, if parts of the gardens are closed for safety reasons, we will not issue a refund as the events are held to raise money for local charities. About the gardens There are records of the gardens of Eaton Hall being opened to the public for charity as early as 1845. The gardens extend to 88 acres and have been developed over many years by prominent designers, most recently by Lady Arabella Lennox-Boyd. The gardens have a wide variety of planting, including four formal colour-themed rose gardens and grand colour-themed herbaceous borders. The hot border was re-planted in 2022 and there is a stunning bedding scheme in the Dragon Garden which is not to be missed. Visitors can also enjoy the walled kitchen garden as well as the lake walk, where you can take in fabulous views of the Hall and grounds. Finally, the Dutch Tea House is filled with roses and herbs and sits perfectly at the end of a short walk past the lake area. The Camellia Walk is open however it is only in bloom in early spring. Eaton Courtyard The Eaton Hall Courtyard complex was created as part of a grand rebuilding scheme which began in 1870, commissioned by Hugh Lupus Grosvenor, then the third Marquess of Westminster (who later became the first Duke of Westminster in 1874). Architect Alfred Waterhouse – who went on to design Manchester Town Hall and the Natural History Museum in London – was brought in to completely transform the house into a Neo-Gothic palace. Under Waterhouse, the Hall was refurbished as well as new additions including the Courtyard buildings which were constructed adjacent to Eaton Hall to provide stabling for horses and accommodation for the staff involved in their care. The ‘Waterhouse Hall’ was demolished in 1963 after the building fell into disrepair – having first being handed over to the war office in 1917 as a hospital and then to the Ministry of Defence in 1943, firstly as the Royal Naval College and then from 1946 to 1960 as an Officer Cadet Training School. Only the Chapel, its six storey (182 ft) clock tower – which can be seen for miles across the Cheshire plain – and the Courtyard remained. At the Courtyard, visitors can take the opportunity to see Eaton Chapel, with its splendid stained-glass windows by Frederic James Shields, dating back to 1870, the carriage museum and former stables, as well as exhibitions on the Grosvenor family's history. The Eaton railway The Eaton railway was a historic narrow-gauge line built for the first Duke which connected the Hall to mainline services at nearby Balderton to transport deliveries and fuel. The original railway was removed in 1947 during the period when Eaton Hall was leased to the War Department. A circular route through the deer park was reinstated in 1996 and is a popular attraction at the garden open days. Please note, tickets for the Eaton railway can only be purchased with an event ticket, are subject to availability and are pre-book only. No train tickets will be available for sale at the event. Dogs are not permitted on the train.
