This exciting event will take place at The Edge Skate Park in Kwinana Town Centre. The coaching sessions will be divided into two sessions, with the first one starting at 3pm and the second one at 4pm. This event is open to participants aged 12 and above. Skilled members of the Freestyle Now squad will be available to provide technical advice, trick tips, skill development, and guidance on skatepark etiquette. Each coaching workshop session lasts for 50 minutes, during which our experienced facilitators will analyze participants' skill levels and assist in building confidence. We believe that skills can be taught, but confidence is crucial. By leveraging their existing skill base as a stepping stone, we can help participants progress and advance. Safety is our top priority, and our instructors are fluent in the language of our participants. They emphasize the importance of wearing helmets and closed-toe shoes to minimize injuries. Participants will be divided into groups based on their skill levels and learning requirements. Please note that the coaching sessions are not suitable for 3-wheeled scooters. Participants must bring their own equipment and ensure they have a helmet. For those under the age of 12, parents must remain on-site throughout the session.
