Enjoy a guided tour around Tamar Valley Vineyard to hear about the history and nature of the valley as well as the very special history behind the vineyard site. Find out how this sleepy patch of Devon soil was transformed into a working vineyard in 2016 by the Williams family. Then, most importantly enjoy the views and taste some of the award-winning wines they have created. Tour includes a tasting of their quality sparkling wine and any other still wines that are available at time of tour along with some carefully paired local cheeses. Soft drinks available. Under 18s are welcome on the tour, please book a free ticket. Under 18s will receive a complimentary soft drink. Please bear in mind: • The Vineyard is a working site, please wear appropriate footwear and clothing • The ground may be uneven in places. Barstaple Comic Con takes place for the first time this autumn as part of the ukcgf tour. Open 10.30-4.30pm A huge selection of TV and film memorabilia, board games, computer games, comics, Lego, Harry Potter and Japanese Manga items and more will be available to purchase throughout the weekend. Cosplay is a huge part of the event so why not join in one of the multiple meet ups for characters or enter the cosplay competition. Meet comic artists (and watch them work!) and guests from film and tv subject to filming. Then to create some great memories take photos with Doctor Who and Star wars props and backdrops.
