Join the Wool Felting Workshop: Make Your Own Garland at Arts Lab of South County in Tracys Landing on December 2nd. This family-friendly event is perfect for participants of all ages. In this 2-hour workshop, led by instructor Susie Stricker, you will learn the process of felting wool fiber into small balls and use them to create a beautiful 5 ft decorative garland. Please note that parent/adult supervision is advised for threading the fiber balls onto the string using a needle. Participants should come prepared to use their hands throughout the entire process. All materials, including wool fiber, string, and alternative tools, will be provided. The workshop fee is $40 for members and $50 for non-members, with a $15 materials fee to be brought to the first session. A minimum of 6 participants or families is required to run the class. Families with more than 3 people who wish to make additional garlands must register multiple times.
