The Junior Pickleball Clinic, hosted by the Dubois Yee-Haw Pickleball Club, offers kids a chance to learn the exciting sport of pickleball. Dubois Youth Soccer offers a Youth Recreational Soccer program designed to develop skills, practice drills, instill sportsmanship, and engage in friendly scrimmages. Participants aged 3 to 9 can join for a fee of $30 per child. The sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 PM on June 5, 12, 19, 26, and July 10, 17, at Rams Stadium located behind the Little Rams Building on Meckem Street in Dubois, WY. Experience the thrill of COED Competitive Volleyball 2025 in Dubois at the Dubois K-12 School Gym. The event will take place every Monday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM starting on January 6th until February 24th, with a final tournament scheduled for that day. The competitive play adheres closely to the Official Volleyball Rule Book, catering to seasoned players rather than beginners. Participants are required to sign up as part of a team, with an option to contact Jen Wright at the CWC office for team placement assistance. Teams must have a minimum of 6 fully paid players to be officially registered, and a suggested minimum of 8 players to account for potential absences. Gender diversity is encouraged, with teams ideally comprising an equal number of male and female players. The season will culminate in a tournament on February 24th, exclusively for registered and paid participants. It is mandatory for players to bring appropriate playing shoes, as street shoes are not permitted during the games. High school students are welcome to join the league, ensuring a diverse pool of players. The Dubois K-12 Gym can accommodate up to 8 teams, overseen by facilitator Katrina Dingman. Times Like These - Raven Bishop Artist Talk & Reception at Gallery 333 Join us February 16th at 10:15am for an artist talk and/or at 12:15pm for a reception celebrating the current exhibition in Gallery 333 in Annapolis. Artist Bio Raven Bishop is an artist based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Her work examines the interplay between ephemerality and experience at the intersection of mindfulness, ceremony and connection to the natural world. She explores these themes through a variety of media and modalities, delving into the personal and panoptic through ceremonialist art, digital collage, poetry, prose and sculptural ephemera. About the ExhibitTimes Like These is a solo exhibition of Bishop’s recent work. The exhibit features large-scale digital collages, sculptural works and reflective prose exploring how moments spent in nature, mindfulness and personally meaningful ceremony can serve as practices for navigating individual challenges set against the backdrop of the complex and turbulent times we are collectively experiencing at this moment in history.
