Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of Congolese Nkisi sculptures and folk art traditions, German adorns these unique creations with intricate beading, glass, fabric, and sculpted wood, resulting in a convergence of Black power, spirituality, mysticism, and feminism. The FUSE Festival is a four-day comedy and arts festival that takes place in the historic Oregon District of Dayton, Ohio. From October 5th to October 8th, visitors can enjoy a variety of comedy showcases and performances at different venues throughout the district. The festival kicks off on Thursday, October 5th at 8pm with the Corner Kitchen hosting the Short Order Comedy, a best of Dayton Showcase hosted by Jon Morris. On Friday, October 6th, the Troll Pub will host a Comedy Showcase at 7pm, followed by Rascals Revenge hosted by Luke Capasso at 9:30pm at the Trolley Stop. Feathers Vintage will also be presenting Feathers Flying at 11:30pm. Saturday, October 7th features The Super Dope Comedy Show hosted by Dan Sebree at the Troll Pub at 7pm, followed by the Fadehouse Comedy Showcase hosted by Barrell House at 9:30pm.
