The 2025 Windy City 18's Recruiting Combine, in partnership with the Adidas Windy City 18's National Qualifier, will be held on January 17th at the Schaumburg Convention Center and is open to any female high school age player, regardless if they are participating in the Windy City 18's National Qualifier or not. The Windy City 18's Recruiting Combine will be promoted to every NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA and Junior College in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota (NCAA Division I is in a Recruiting Quiet Period and cannot recruit off campus) and the Player Information Packet will be sent to every school (including NCAA DI) in IL, WI, IA, IN, MI and MN! Volleyball players will be divided by position and graduation year to allow attending college coaches to efficiently evaluate them. Multiple courts will be used at the Convention Center with each court having a court coach , to allow players to showcase their skills sets to the college coaches. The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets. Join Chicago Modernist Collective (CMC) for a private, guided tour of the iconic 1938 architectural jewel, the Schweikher house. The house's design blends several of the styles which Paul Schweikher worked in throughout his career, with Prairie School, Japanese, and International Style elements woven throughout. The one-story house was built with wood, brick, and glass - the simple materials and low roof helping match the house to its natural environment. The tour will be led by historian and managing director, Dan Fitzpatrick, with a light lunch to follow. The Tour: Begins at noon and runs approximately 75 minutes. The Reception: A light lunch with non-alcoholic beverages will be provided at tour end. Guests are welcome to mingle and walk the grounds freely until 3pm. If the court­yard park­ing area is full, cars may also park along the north side of the dri­ve­way along the grassed shoul­der, fac­ing out toward Meacham Road.
