Yuta Nakamoto (stage name YUTA) was born on October 26, 1995, in Osaka, Japan. He is a Japanese singer and actor who develops his career in South Korea and is a member of the Korean boy bands NCT and NCT 127.
On December 24, 2013, Yuta Nakamoto debuted with S.M. Entertainment's pre-star group SMROOKIES. On July 6, 2015, he became a regular guest on the variety show "Non-Summit Meeting." On July 7, 2016, he officially debuted as a member of NCT 127 with the release of their first mini-album, "NCT #127," featuring the title song "Fire Truck." On the 10th, he released the group's first mini-album, "NCT #127." On January 5, 2017, he released the group's second mini-album, "NCT #127 LIMITLESS." On October 12, 2018, he released his first full-length album, "NCT #127 Regular-Irregular," with NCT 127. From January 26 to 27, 2019, he held his first concert with NCT 127, titled "NCT 127 1st Tour 'NEO CITY : SEOUL – The Origin'." In January 2021, he won the 35th Golden Disc Cosmopolitan Artist Award and the 30th Seoul Music Awards Main Award with the group. In January 2022, he won the Grand Prize at the 31st Seoul Music Awards with the group. On September 9, the film "HiGH & LOW THE WORST X," in which he starred, was released, and he continues to perform as an actor. On April 14, 2023, the TV series "The Cool Boy" starring him premiered. On January 7, 2024, Nakamoto embarked on his second Japan tour, "NEO CITY: JAPAN - THE UNITY," with NCT 127. On October 16, a teaser image for Nakamoto's first mini-album, "Depth," was released, with the album set to be released on November 13, 2025. On May 6, 2025, the Utopia version of the trailer for Nakamoto's debut single album, "TWISTED PARADISE," was released, with the album set to be released on May 14.
