The Biennial aims to create a meeting point in Istanbul for the fields of Visual Artsand an exchange between artists and audiences from different cultures. 
The 18th Istanbul Biennial will run from 2025 to 2027 and will be divided into three parts: the first part will be held from September 20 to November 23, 2025, with exhibitions and public programs at its core. The second part, to be held in 2026, will involve collaboration with local arts projects, a permanent educational program and quarterly public events.The final part will take place from 18 September to 14 November 2027 and will include a series of exhibitions, publications, performances and discussions. 
Details of the 2026 and 2027 programmes will be announced in the coming months.

Although we purchased tickets on Ctrip in advance, we still had to queue for more than half an hour before entering (women are required to cover their heads to visit).

April is not the peak season for travel in Turkey, and the large number of tourists reminds me of the grand scene of queuing in front of the Meridian Gate of the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was actually built more than 870 years later than Hagia Sophia... The Blue Mosque

The Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey (also known as Suleiman Mosque) uses Byzantine-style domes combined with Islamic architectural elements, with a diameter of27.5 meters, 4 sub-domes and 30 small domes distributed around, without pillar support. No nails were used when construction, relying on masonry structure alone, after 400 years of earthquakes still standing. The central hall inside is nearly 5,000 square meters, surrounded by 260 small windows and stained glass windows, forming a light and shadow changeable &quot;light dance space&quot;. Designer Kocha Mimar Shinan (April 15, 1489 － April 9, 1588) was Michelangelo from the Ottoman era.
