Dear Neverwinterers, this time we will pedal through NY, CT and MA via the well known Harlem valley trail. This is a really gorgeous route that we do almost every year.
We will have numerous stops and possibly visit the lakes. This route has plenty of places where you can refill the water and are very environmentally friendly.
Half of the trail goes via a protected bicycle lane, where you will never see the cars.
There will be some small hills but most of the time it will be flat ground.
Because everyone has their own cycling pace, we might split into groups at some point.

Starts/Ends at: 6:30 AM at Grand Central Terminal (at the middle of the hall, around Service desk)

About 8 hours ride (average speed 11 miles/hr)
Total elevation: 2218ft
Road type: 100% paved
Total distance: about 70 miles (please take this into consideration as this event is not for rookies)
Some of us might drive to Wassaic directly, so ask in group if they have space for you and your bike.

Harlem is a famous street town in New York. It is suitable for bringing friends here. The price here is cheaper than in the city. The old low-rent housing buildings have been renovated very beautifully. It is really worth a visit when you come to New York. I will always remember Harlem and those Dominicans, because this is the community where I lived when I first came to New York City.

Central Park is very fun. There are large lawns and many squirrels running around. You can rent bicycles and ride horse-drawn carriages in the park. It is also nice to just walk around. There is a huge children&#39;s playground not far from Columbus circle. Children from all over the world who come to New York come here to play. They can play in the sand and water, and there are slides, swings, and rockeries. It is easy to play for half a day. There are also many people playing on the lawn. Many people there like to throw frisbees. Many families come here for vacation. It doesn&#39;t get dark until about 8:30 in the summer in the United States, so it&#39;s no problem to play in the park for a whole day!

Very good Bronx Zoo, one of the must-see places in New York. I really like the facilities and garden design here. It is beautiful and friendly to watch. We didn&#39;t see many animals because it was raining.

Great experience! Booking of tickets on Trip was easy-received QR codes for entrance into the museum received shortly. Skipped the queue to buy tickets at the museum. Get to go onboard the aircraft carrier and submarine for the first time! Interesting visit!
