The 2024 Hoopla STEM Challenge is an exciting and educational event that combines basketball and STEM education for children in grades K-8. This free event, held at the Dayton Convention Center in Dayton, OH, offers participants the opportunity to showcase their basketball skills and learn about science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and engaging way. The event kicks off with opening ceremonies and basketball contests, followed by STEM exhibits and activities. Prizes, including Hoopla T-Shirts, iTunes and Scene75 Gift Cards, and multiple grand prizes, will be awarded to participants who make successful shots. Regional and national partners will be present to provide a family-friendly STEM program that will inspire and excite students about the power of STEM education. Pre-registration is highly encouraged for participating students, and parents and chaperones can attend without a ticket.
