The "CONCAVE-CONVEX" theme aims to draw attention to the "uneven" and "folded" aspects beneath smooth surfaces, highlighting perspectives and values from others. The characters' form and combination symbolize the complementarity and harmony between different local experiences, as well as the connections and collaborations among diverse entities, echoing the enduring mortise-and-tenon structure and its representation of Eastern aesthetics and craftsmanship. Building on the grand scale and panoramic presentation of the previous edition, the 2025 Beijing Contemporary Art Expo will further refine and construct the value system of contemporary art. Through an uneven, winding artistic journey, it invites audiences to discover unfamiliar landscapes and overlooked voices beyond the surface, guiding them to judge and choose with value rationality and to explore and embrace differences with an inclusive mindset.

The Forbidden City, bathed in the warmth of a winter afternoon, came alive under the eloquent explanations of our guide, Mr. Chen. During the nearly four-hour tour, he not only eloquently recounted the history behind the magnificent architecture and precious artifacts, but also used vivid stories to transport us through time. With only eight people in our group, he remained patient and meticulous, ensuring each of us received a personalized experience. The Great Wall itself is magnificent, but the scenery is somewhat lacking in winter, and the cold and windy weather makes the experience even worse. However, as a place of spiritual significance, it is still worth a visit.

We did most of the major attractions, it was a really fun day 🥰 The Christmas decorations were beautiful and created a great atmosphere. The only downside was that things inside were quite expensive; food and souvenirs weren&#39;t cheap either.

Prince Kung's Palace Museum

Winter is a great time to visit as there is no crowd. Enjoy the street food and the historical mansion of prince gong. Took about 3 hours in there. Station is BeiHaiBei station and 5 mins walk to the mansion

The Temple of Heaven&#39;s ticket does indeed bear the words &quot;Ticket,&quot; and below it is a photo of the Temple of Heaven&#39;s three gates, thus making it a true ticket.

The Temple of Heaven is arguably the largest park in southern Beijing. While some suburban parks are now large, I&#39;m referring to historical parks. Because it was where emperors worshipped Heaven and prayed for favorable weather, this park is the most sacred and architecturally exquisite.

Because Beijing&#39;s north-south division is based on Chang&#39;an Avenue (east-west), and the former imperial palace was located north of Chang&#39;an Avenue, many temples, parks, and memorial sites are scattered throughout northern Beijing. Therefore, compared to Beijing&#39;s layout, most visitors now focus on the north, often overlooking the Temple of Heaven in the south. There are many buses to the Temple of Heaven, making it easily accessible. In fact, the Temple of Heaven is not far from Qianmen Dashilan in Beijing; it&#39;s almost within walking distance.
