The most striking of San Ilde Fonso is its blue and white tile facade, which is collaged with traditional Portuguese tiles, depicting the life and religious scenes of San Ilde Fonso. The tiles are cold blue and white in the sun, contrasting with the baroque sculptures on the top of the church the complex weaves of curly grass, angel statues and religious symbols intertwined, showing the ultimate pursuit of dynamic and decorative Baroque art.
