The 2025 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival is here. This year, the popular Japanese character "Gee Kawa" will be used as the theme to open the "Kaohsiung Wonderland Winter Amusement Park" Lantern Festival, which will be held at Love River Bay from January 25 to February 16 next year.
Kaohsiung City won the "Annual Excellence City Award" and once again won the "No. 1 Sustainable Happiness City". In 2025, "Gee Kawa" was specially invited to make a grand debut at Love River Bay. We hope that the content of the event will surpass this year's yellow duck and let everyone be amazed by the vitality of Kaohsiung's city again. Choosing "Gee Kawa" as the IP of the 2025 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival just interprets Kaohsiung City's efforts in the process of urban transformation and conveys a "micro-happy sense of life."

The British Consulate is the first building in Taiwan to build a complete and strong bungalow. The building is built on a small hill. It is very strategically located in the west of the Taiwan Strait. It is the only way for cargo ships to enter and exit Kaohsiung Port. It faces Kaohsiung City in the east and overlooks Kaohsiung City and the port. Now it has become an open-air cafe, with a romantic atmosphere, a great place for Kaohsiung people to relax in the afternoon and evening. For more than a hundred and forty years, the old British consulate, after being baptized by war and typhoon, was once broken and destroyed, and was restored in 1987 and listed as a second-class antique.

Suzuka Circuit Park in Kaohsiung was fantastic! We had a great time exploring all the rides and attractions. The park was clean, well-maintained, and offered fun experiences for both kids and adults. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The racing-themed activities added excitement and made our visit memorable. Definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking for a fun-filled day!

Liuhe Night Market was a very famous night market in Kaohsiung when we were children, but now the crowds have gradually decreased and there are not many places to visit. A local friend told us that Ruifeng Night Market might be more lively!
