Thursday, May 15, 2025, 
at the Gateway Event Center on the campus of Virginia State University, to kick off the 2025 VSU Alumni Weekend with our Alumni Leadership Conference. This year's theme is "Building the Bridge to Greater."
Conference Sessions Include:
Alumni Author Networking
Starting a non-profit for your alumni chapter
Marketing strategies for chapter engagement and fundraising
Effective Operations/Parlimentary Procedures
Alumni Engagement Panel Session
Keynote speaker, Lunch, and Entertainment featuring the VSU Concert Choir and the Trojan Explosion Pep Band

It&#39;s not as shocking as I imagined, but as the number one attraction in St. Petersburg, I have to check it out. It&#39;s actually quite painful for people who don&#39;t know a little about Western art. I personally prefer the Ye Palace.

It&#39;s near Nevsky road, easy to reach there. Beautiful both outside and inside. The ticket price is higher after 6pm.

This is the most beautiful palace I&#39;ve ever been to. The Czar family and Catherine the Great used to spend summers there. The most beautiful part of the palace is the Amber room, where the whole room is made out of Amber Stone.You can even buy Amber- made souvenirs like bracelets and key chains on the ground floor at the souvenir shops in the palace. Catherine Palace was destroyed in WW2 when it was bombed by the Germans. Today, it has been restored to its former glory. The Amber Room itself took over 24 years to restore! You will be given special socks to wear inside the palace so as not to damage the wooden floor of the palace.You can also request audio headphones in English in case you need translation as the guide only speaks Russian.

The Catherine Garden is located in Pushkin, 25 kilometers south of St. Petersburg, Russia. It is the back garden of the Catherine Palace. It is beautifully laid out, colorful, with green trees and rippling lakes. Strolling in the French garden is an enjoyable and elegant environment.

Peterhof Palace

This is the Summer Palace of the last Czar! it&#39;s a beautiful garden filled with man-made fountains, but without the use of electricity, everything is built based on physics and science. It&#39;s usually open in summer because in winter, the fountain freezes over into ice. After 5 pm in summer, the entrance into the garden is free. However , you need a ticket to enter the palace to view the interior, which you can purchase online to avoid long queues in summer. The palace is open at 9am-5pm and worth visiting, although tourists need at least 2 hours to view the entire palace. In reality, the fun is actually outside, with the cascading fountains and beautiful gardens, as the estate was used for horse riding by Catherine the Great and a playground for the children of the Czar family The golden statues and endless fountains are instagram worthy for any influencer. A must -do on your list.
