Join students from St Paul’s Catholic College Aboriginal dance group for a captivating and educational experience at the Press Play: Dingo in the Dark Performance. This unique and interactive storytime performance, inspired by the book "Dingo in the Dark" by Sally Morgan, takes you on a journey with Dingo, a lovable character who is afraid of the dark. Only when the Sun is there to watch over him can he find peace and sleep. In this engaging showcase, Dingo's friends embark on a mission to make him feel safe when night falls. For children aged 3-8 years, this event guarantees an enchanting and entertaining experience for all attendees. Children must be accompanied by an adult, so please ensure to book a ticket for both adults and children. The Press Play: Dingo in the Dark Performance features two sessions to accommodate everyone's schedule. In the first session, from 10-10.30am, participants can engage in art-making outside and create their very own Australian animal shadow puppet. Following this, from 10.30-10.45am, the performance takes place inside The Cube, captivating audiences with the heartwarming story of Dingo. The second session begins at 10.45am, allowing participants to join the art-making activity outside and create their shadow puppet. The session concludes with the performance from 11.15-11.30am inside The Cube. The Multi-Arts Pavilion (MAP mima), located in Speers Point Park, is the venue for this enchanting event. Accessible by ramp and equipped with accessible toilets, MAP mima ensures everyone can enjoy the performance.
