Women you know like Harriet Tubman and Libby Cotton to those you don’t - like Elyse Brooks - an herbalist in Ithaca in the 1800’s. These are the stories of our communities. How we continue and care and resist and work and love, despite it all. We learn from their work and persist and grow and thrive, despite it all.
